OH it gets worse. There is a thread on youtube with over 300 posts. The video is about how to get cheap batteries by breaking about old laptop battery packs. Now the guy in the video was through about it, testing every battery, charging, retesting, and labeling each one according to how many volts fully charged, how many mah and how many amps. Might be ok for a flashlight. Then the comments.. which got around to "Can you use these to vape".. so you have 3 idiots saying yeah sure, go ahead, they are fine, no problem, and 50 other people saying ARE YOU NUTS???
One big reason, is those batteries were never intended to be used as singles, and were not designed to be used as singles. That came right from Sony. The internal chemistry was made to work with 6 or 8 or whatever other identical cells. But you always have "That Guy" that knows more than Sony.. because "I am a 2 year student at an ITC". LOL I replied, you wasted your tuition, change courses, in 2 years you haven't even learned about batteries.
I found the post.. read the comments. LOL Ummm i am not really gentle about telling those clowns not to recommend dangerous batteries.
and again DO NOT DO THIS!
By the way.. look at his labels.. 3.4v, 3.6v.. Vape batteries should read 4.2v when fully charged. This drops over time. You should recharge at 3.4 to 3.2v. So a fully charged battery at 3.6v is garbage to begin with.
