I'm happy with the toptank 75w mini starter kit I got... well mostly, I did buy new tanks, but kept the kbox mod. as much as I like the shiney, I don't need more than the 75 wats currently.
Just go forward at whatever rate you are comfortable with. When I started using that mech mod, I tested the coil, test fired on my regulated mod, test vaped on the regulated mod, put it on the mech, fired it pointing away from my face.. looked it over, took out the battery, checked that it wasnt hot, vaped on it, took out the battery again, tested it wasnt hot.. I had that battery out about 10 times before taking two consecutive pulls on that thing. LOL
lol.. I never said i NEEDED 200w. I have vids of me using a 7 watt build on a top tank mini. LOL.
Just as simple as lowering the wattage. Vaping at 50 - 55 w obviously wasn't suiting my vaping style.

that's the best part about vaping, quoting from one of my fav books "there is no one true way"... but we can tell you if we're thinking you're doing something FUBAR'd lol.
That's the best thing about it you can ask for advice and 9/10 you get it.

especially with the SS coil. Kanthal actually gets red and glows at a lower temperature and takes more watts to heat (if i remember right) than stainless steel, but don't quote me on that 100%, I am going by memory on that one.
Edit.. by the way, on my builds, I can lower my watts and vape that wick until it is nearly bone dry without burning the wick. I get an hour or more sometimes on a single drip *well several drops per drip..maybe 1 ml*
This has opened my eyes to a whole new world of vaping. Something for me to get my head into

check out vape tricks on youtube.. Jason is the guy I buy from at the vape shop. I don't buy anything without his OK, as in mods, batteries, etc. The SOB loves to blow a jellyfish.. and I give him a dirty look every time.. I can't even make a decent O.. and pushing an O? Fugget about it!
Will definitely check him out in the morning it's late here in UK and I'm supping on a few real ales enjoying my vape without burning

nope. When I decided to switch to vaping to quit smoking I did a lot of research. After I started, I did even more research. The more I learned, the more research I did. It got to the point where I had to join a sciences forum too.
