Hey everyone!

I'm new to all of this and have been creeping around the site for the last few days doing a lot of reading and research.
I've finallly bought my first E-Cig but figured I would give you guys some background about myself first. I'm 22 years old, have been smoking for around 4 years, and smoke about 1 to 1 1/2 packs of malboro reds a day. I wanted something I wouldn't have to fill constantly, and somthing that I would only have to charge overnight and have for a majority of the day.

This is my first kit (waiting for it to arrive) : KGO kit1100mAh by SLB
(Are links allowed? If not I'll edit)

It's a V2 kGo 1100mah kit. From what I've read it was the most ideal for what I was looking for. (And only 42$ which isn't bad for an initial investment).
I also purchased a few 10ml juices that are 18mg Nic and 20%VG.

My question you kind people.

1. Do you think this was the right choice for me?
2. What other accessories should I look into getting (It's 510)
3. What juices do you suggest? (Flavor, VG, and Nic wise?)
4. Where from? I've done a lot of searching, but I'm looking for a place with a good reputation, reasonable prices, and a larger selection.
(I'm not interested in mixing my own yet)

Any and all input is apprecaited! Thanks Everyone!
AJ

That's an okay kit. Each battery should last you a day and you do have two. So, while one is charging, the other you can use. Since you're a pack and half a day of reds kind of person...I would've suggested higher nic (24 maybe right...) with 50/50 (PG/VG) juices. A 10ml bottle will probably last you only a day or even two. Get more juices! If you're kit only came with clearomizers, I would suggest investing in larger tanks. There's tanks out there that hold 6ml+ and should hold you down throughout the whole day.

The best thing about you inquiring now is that there's lots of thanksgiving sales. I read somewhere earlier that there was a site that was giving 60% off on their juices...I forgot...you'll have to look around for that....or someone will chime in...

Enjoy and congrats! Welcome to ECF!

Welcome to the forum ajramos26 and congrats on giving e-cigs a go. I went all in off the git go and got a Provari.
The vari-volt is a nice option and the Provari is great but I still find the 1100mah batteries provide both a great vape
and a good length of vape time. Very satisfying at a good price point.

If you find you like the clearos that come with your kit, you may want to think about getting the repairable V3(Stardust type)
in the future. Replacement heads are only 2 or 3 bucks and I've had a few of the heads last for months with proper care,
cleaning and weekly(or so) dryburning.

Watch utube vids from reputable reviewers for good tutorials and such, there is a lot of iffy stuff on the tube.

Mindfield(from here) or Scott(igotya69) both do some great reviews and tutorials.

Mindfield(VAPOURCHASE) does lots of juices and he is quite thorough,
and funny.

Enjoy the vape and CHEERS!:vapor::vapor:

It looks like a starter kit that was inexpensive if your just tryin to get your foot in the door and should be good! Me being a marb red smoker (pack and a half) i found that yes the 24mg nic helped BUT also having a low resistance atomizer i could drip with helped a lot. It gave off closer to the heat of a cigarette for my liking and that throat hit. There are tons of sites that sell a 510 low resistance atomizer. Using a low resistance atomizer will reduce battery life but as its been said you have 2 batteries so it shouldnt be a problem.. well at least it wasnt for me! And my batteries were only 900 mah. Good luck hopefully it helps you keep off analogs

It's not a good idea to charge batteries overnight or leave them unattended while charging. You want to pull them off the charger when they're done. Worst case if something goes wrong they can explode or start a fire.

It's a very, very good idea to learn about battery safety when using e-cigs. Even more so when you start getting into mods with bigger batteries.

Welcome. No car charger? Its Nov. and you live in Altoona. You must really trust,or work for, PennElec. F.Y.I. NeuSmoke is over at 902 Milville Rd. (888) 572-5881 I am not sure if they do store front, but that might save on shipping. Too bad they don't have Texas Hotdog or Delgrosso Park Tomato juice. Best wishes.

I think you did just great. Right now you dont actually know how much you will vape or what flavors you like. So 3 10 ml bottles will give you a starting point to see just what you want and need. Dont rush out to buy that 24mg juice just yet. See how you get on with what you have. If you find you are not satisfied you will know to move up.
but you might find 18 is just right.
as for how much you will vape - I was a 2 pack a day smoker and at first I used only 2 ml a day. it took me 3 or 4 months before I was up to my current level of 4-6 ml a day. So no rush on buying more supplies. just enjoy what you have and see what you needs are as you go along.
