Welcome to ECF.

When my daughter and I were using cigalikes with cartomizers (similar to Blu), we found that anything from 80/20 to 65/30 pg/vg ratios were good for us - we sometimes even got 100% pg - all at 18 mg nicotine. When we switched to Evods with bottom coil clearomizers, that much pg was too harsh for us. We have found our "sweet spot" at 50/50 pg/vg. My daughter still uses the 18 mg nicotine for most of her eliquids, and I have been able to go down to 12 mg nicotine. Keep playing with your pg/vg ratios. You will find something that works for you.

I like the Evod kits a lot, and from what I can tell - you are doing better on VG juice - I vape at 24 mg, but I was heavy smoker...don't give up! You will find the right mix :D Welcome and if anyone can help, these people can!!

The VG juice is much better for me, I can actually take a hit off it. Still harsh if I take to big of a hit but it's just a matter of getting used to it. Net I can look for a different tank, I would like to have a couple extras with different flavors in them. The tank that came with this kit is a disposable tank, can't replace the atty in it. I was thinking of ordering a couple of these EV-H2 Clearomizer [Smoke] - $2.21 : EasyVapors.com, Electronic Cigarette Refills E Liquid

The too harsh feeling could also be the nicotine level....24 is high, not sure what you tried, but try a VG with a slightly lower nic level - you want to find something that is enough to keep you off smokes but not so much it is hard for you to take - I like the Kanger tanks...and the bottom coils were easier to learn to fix up to get some more life out of them - they are a great starter tank! I haven't tried the EH tanks, so not sure how they are. The disposable tanks can be refilled (it is a pain in the ...., LOL), so better off to get a refillable tank for sure :D

I was wondering since it the VG only e juice that I like. if a bottom coil tank is better for VG only ( I heard the VG is thicker and the wicks in the top coil tanks might not suck up the juice well

Yes bottom coil is better for high vg;

for topcoil tanks, higher pg soaks up the wicks better because it isn't as thick as vg

Ready made liquids aren your thang ?

Guess that makes you a prime candidate for DIY.

Will be less costly in the long run too. As you said, chucking unfinished bottles of liquid that don't suit you does add up.

Or you look around for some pals already into DIY to help you work out a nic/PG/VG ratio that won't shredder your lungs :)

All of a sudden I am getting gurgling and almost no hit at all, I assume that means e juice got down where it's not supposed to ?

EDIT: after serveral hard hit it seems to of cleared up on it's own

Just checking in on you :) That gurgling happens sometimes when you overfill a tank....that will get easier the more tanks you fill :) I overfilled everything the first week - LOL!!

It's just a cheap disposable tank, they call it a t2 tank ( I don't know if that is a designation specific to that manufacturer or not ) I'm going to order maybe two or three more tanks the bottom type just so I can have different flavors in each. I'm thinking about trying the DIY juice from Killer Juice, seems crazy inexpensive that way but I am concerned about the PG content in it. I think I read the max VG mix has 15% PG. Maybe that is so low it wouldn't be an issue, Only one way to find out I guess..

I notice even with the 100 % VG juice I have right now it is still hard to take a hit, I have to do it just right and very minimal. So much so that I don't think I am getting any nicotine. it in no way satisfies a craving, I was able to not smoke at all using the blu e cigs.

A couple of extra tanks is always a good idea, and I was really worried about DIY juice at first too - but there are some serious experts here :) One thing that helped me was learning how to vape....slow longer draws than you take on a regular smoke...at first I was getting a LOT of throat hit but it felt like no nicotine because I was drawing hard and fast....maybe bump up the nicotine a little to fight off those cravings - and if you want all VG to mix - it is easy to find premixed and just add flavor - here is the place I like best - USP Nicotine Solutions
