well I had some Premiums before and some regular cheapo ones and since getting the turrbos my same juices i use don't put out nearly as much vapor unless i puff harder or longer like let go of the button and then push it again on a manual battery. I assume it is just because of the higher ohm wire so not as much heat. I also had a couple hard cap vapornines from my friends nebula starter kit that he got a few weeks ago and those seemed to put out more vapor too.

two of my juices that were putting out a good amount of vapor (TV german chocolate cake w/ 20% vg and Atomic Cinnicide w/ 20% vg) are really low on vapor production now where i have to puff a few times to get some and take two 5sec pulls on it to get a good amount. the AC is really really bad where it puts out hardly any vapor at all. i ordered some VG just to drip in them to bump them up some. I havent tried all of my juices yet but I have an all vg one (boba t'bac) that still puts out a good amount of vapor.

That's kinda odd, Sideburn. I just tested hardcap turbo/softcap turbo with exactly the juices you show (GCC 20% and AC 20%), so 4 total, side by side, then using the same battery. I'm getting really good vapor all around, and each one produces as much as the other. All of them produce lots more than an old skool standard carto.

Is it possible they are overfilled a bit? I sometimes get slightly diminished vapor if I get greedy with the juice, but it equalizes after just a bit of use.

Other than that, there are the usual suggestions; fully charged battery, clean contacts on the battery and threads, etc.

If all that checks out, color me stumped!

vapor production seems good to me--but i have noticed a couple are not making a solid connection with one of my batteries and have to be fiddled with before they really sizzle. that's more likely an issue with the batt though, but something to consider. i'm getting just as much vapor from these guys as i was from the hardcaps.

whoa...good...so it isn't just me!! Thanks belletrist!

yeah...I have noticed an issue only with the Nebula batteries...the carto simply will not work no matter how much I thread and rethread it...put it on another battery and it works fine.???? And yes I do always check to make sure the offending battery is fully charged. I don't want to give up on these batteries because they are more versitle and I can use Greencigs with them. But so far I'm not totally happy with how they are performing.

okay...I would have to say it isn't the Nebula perse...it's the non-Kanger batteries. I have some Nebulas, one 280 auto from Vaporkings and one 350 auto with extended cutoff time from Vaporkings...NONE of the non-kangers, ie: slotted batteries produce the amount of vapor or full flavor that ANY non-slotted/kanger battery produces. Any theories?????

oh...belletrist is totally correct...overfill them and the vapor diminishes...you can even overfill them to the point where you get no vape at all. Just blow them out into a towel.

ok false alarm. I just tried another set of carto's and now im getting lots of vapor like it should. I thought it was the cartos fault because the first two i tried were not working right. one (the one with the GCC) was "ok" but the one with the AC was really bad like almost no vapor at all. so i just filled another one with AC and now its pumping out the vapor :)

I think I got it!

okay...maybe not.....still experimenting....

very odd....there is no doubt in my mind that there is a big difference in performance between the slotted batteries and the non-slotted batteries when used with the turbo carts. I have not tried with other carts yet. What is so odd is that if I put my Greencig adapter on the slotted batteries they perform better...more vapor...more flavor. I thought it might be becase of the breather holes but that doesn't seem to be the case. ??????

edit: so here is what it seems to me...slotted cartos work best on non-slotted batteries and non-slotted cartos (Greencigs) work best on slotted batteries. Does that seem to be the case for anyone else?

So where does that leave us with the Nebula batteries and these new Turbos???

caveot for those new to this thread: There is nothing wrong with the Nebula or non-kanger batteries! We are all just working out the little bugs with the Turbo carts since they are brand new.

Also,,,missMia rocks! Your right....the syringe method with the GC cartos is SO much better than ripping them apart! Thank you :)

Tis definitely how I've experienced it and read it to be!

Oh good, glad I could help with something, despite not having all the same equipment y'all do, and are enjoying sciencey reindeer games with that I can only watch through the glass atm! :p :D

Myself, I'm trying not to see too much new and interesting stuff... If I don't log off the freakin Internet one of these days (years!) soon, I'm going to be disowned... including by myself!!!! :-x (Things were already in the crapper on that count BEFORE I even found vaping & ECF!! 8-o)

Peeked last nite tho; HUGE thumbs up on your beautifications!!!! :thumb:

I was about to post, but I realized that I wasn't armed, so I had to run...:D

I really like your batteries. True bling. One can't do this with cigs....;)
:lol::lol::lol:

They did try....remember Eve's? Talk about target advertising!! I edited my posts to include the link for paper to make your own decals.
btw missMia....if things were in the crapper before you started vaping anyway you might as well make the most of vaping right? Besides....you wouldn't want to miss it when Ben announces his vibrating passthrough. You just know those will sell out in a flash!:w00t:

I love both the hard cap and the soft cap turbos, best cartos on the market for sure! Have to be honest when I say that I like the original hard cap better though. No idea why because I don't do ohm readings or try to figure anything out at all for that matter:confused: lol. The hard caps, while not as easy to refill(although it's hard to call the call the condom method anything but easy), did perform extremely exceptional for me for some reason. Ben, is there anyway to make both the original hard cap turbos as well as the soft cap turbos available for purchase? Are they both from the same manufacturer?

Greyz...just for knowlege gathering sake....what do you vape with? 3.7V or 5volts? And what brand of batteries? If we know that it would help to figure out why they perform better for you. Thanks!

I use the Nebula(automatic) and an Ego(manual) w/ an 808 adapter I got from goodprophets.
My understanding is that the Nebula is a true 3.7 volts and the Ego is less than that.
