But these:
Are bigger than the OKL
May require external capacitors (Application note 186)
Are not rated for 5.9V out (5.1 Max)

Yeah I see what your saying...I must be close though...how many parts would have the same exact notes written the same way to the letter.....I give!! lol

well I see that Break hasn't PM any of his friends with his secret or you guys wouldn't be busting your chops to guess.:pop:

(Either that or we're not really his friends).

I dont even do high volts...I just like a good mystery!

Probably something I cant solder anyway.....hell I'm still trying to get my chunk of plutonium to stay put under my wick...but for some reason it just keeps burning thru everything all the way to the bottom of my mod...and desk...and floor...then I gotta go get it from the basement start over!! :glare:

LOLOLOL!!! What a tease you are breaktru!

You had said max was 5.5v for this module - so what's it doing at 5.9v in one of your pics hmmm??

I don't want his converter, I just want to be able to cut a hole for a voltage meter that dang pretty!

Me too - I suck at perfect cutouts for those voltage readers. :(

poland, and the brassy lands of google
This one is hamster powered, the 5.5v module only fits a gerbil.

Talk with Para, he's the master of D.M. cutting.

Master? lol Not me; the one you just did is damn near PERFECT. That's one beauty of a mod....love the smooth look of the case; another awesome Breaktru creation.

The key to cutting the opening is squaring the corners. Once you get the 4 corners square, it's just a matter of enlarging the opening to fit. I rough it out to within a couple of mm of the finished size, take about 1mm to square the corners, and then the final mm to finish it up.

Different DC-DC converter mamu

So this converter is not the one you mentioned in another thread then?

Yes - you are Para. I've seen your cutouts and they're perfect.

Mine - LOLOLOL - not so perfect. So I frame the voltage reader. Covers up oopsies very nicely.

I'm working w/ two different new converters mamu.
One is a step down in this mod and the other is a new boost circuit for a single battery mod.
I see that you used the OKR in the Denali. Very nicely done mamu.
