New UFS Leaking?

Imeo and Bruce, I received my replacement base cup in the mail Monday afternoon and it works like a charm. Before, juice would flood the atomizer when refilling even though the air/liquid controls were shut, and I would have to smoke off this leakage before the UFS acted normal. Now I can fill the tank and the atty stays bone-dry until I want it wet.

Thought I had everything under control but I'm still having the same problem and wondering if my base cup is to blame as well. I was able to take some close up pictures finally of where the atty meets the cup when the juice control is fully closed. One side has a small gap while the other seems to be ok.

I would PM Bigbuyer and show him the pics make sure you let him know the gap is the same with other attys tell him everything you tried. That gap while it isn't much shouldn't be there.
Guys, its impossible for UFS to be faulty. I hear some people asking for uFS bases but the issue is with atomizer. Some of them are bad made. To see what is happening, you can messure the distances on your atties. I will make a video messuring an atty to show you what I mean.
Yeah, tried different atty's and cartos and still the same issue. I PM'd Bruce.
I'll wait for the video and try what you suggested Imeo. I tried a couple different types of dual coul cartos, two ikenvape atty's, and one of the COV dual coil atty's.

Danks - I have the same gap and all the same symptoms. I tried numerous atties and they all had the gap and allowed juice in with jc closed. I knew the base cap was at fault after I tried the base cap from my v1 ufs and it sealed properly and eliminated all issues.
Danks, you have a right because you just told me that you tried different atomizers. Anyway, I made this video in case someone thinks that UFS is damaged without a reason
Thanks for the video Imeo, I did some measuring on my attys. 1 out of the 4 I tried was bad, one side had a big difference from the other so the gap was even larger. The other 3 were spot on though.
If you messure those atties but they still leave a gap between UFS base and their base then its time to call Bruce Danks to change the UFS base for you
Here are my photos. You can see the edge of the opening in the base cup has a notch along it. Sorry, no macro lense.
Mine too looks like that..at first I thought I was filling it wrong but the juice just drained down through into the collector...

This might be a stupid question, but why can't we use some sort of o-ring in between the atty and the base cup? Too much heat down there??
Wew dont care about heat because of the liquid there but maybe o-ring will block the juice flow Yeti. But you can try of course. A 6/1 o-ring would be ok I think

I received my UFS today and was so excited. I am having same problems but with a twist.
First my leakage goes all the way down through the firing pin. Bruce was nice enough to send me a fully assembled USF so I took it apart and noticed 1 of the 2mmX1mm O rings was broken. I took it out and now just have 1 2mmX1mm O ring. (what a pain to get back on) I am going to talk to Bruce to get some replacements... anyways I assembled back the USF exactly as shown on the forums and u-tube videos and it still leaks all the way down the firing pin.
I measured the cartos and atty like Imeo suggested and they were all ok. I have a ton of different ones (Joye 510 LR & HR attys and the new dual atty, 1.5 ohm dual cartos and triple coil cartos all from Bruce. And Bruce was kind enough to include a 1.25 ohm dual carto with the UFS and it leaks with that one aswell.
Any suggestions. I am so sad at the moment. I don't know what to do.
Any advice would be appreciated.

In what way you put back o-rings? Did you follow video instructions or you just pushed the firing pin inside plastic?

The o rings in the UFS connector are the same size as the ones on the GGTS connector so for now you can swap them out to make sure it doesn't leak. Also make sur ethe o ring between the pin and the nut on the bottom is good.
Also when you assemble make sure the tank is completely closed then see if you have any leaking. It shouldn't leak when the tank is completely closed.

I replaced the small 0 ring (2mmX1mm) with the help of my wife. We used a small pin too stretch it around the firing pin then slid it down to the base. So I am only using 1 O ring. Could that be the problem? I mean it leaks alot, just drips down the firing pin.
Looking at the SS GG TS I am scared to pull out the firing pin. It looks like the 0 ring inside the GGTS firing pin is a larger size.?
Am i incorrect? I am not very good at these things but
i try my best.
Also to confirm would these be the right replacement 0 rings?
