Hello ECF members! I have been vaping for about 3 months now and will never go back to analog cigarettes. Its very exciting to not have to smell and cough :).

I started out with a Vogue VOG102 "Variable Voltage" EPV that I got in May. For the first month or so it worked pretty good and treated me well. I have been using Ego Vision Clearomizers as well. I must say however that I regret buying this setup. I have already broke one of my two batteries and I just cant seem to get good performance out of it anymore. I also at this point think that the Clearomizers are evil. They turn my juice brown, and don't seem to work correctly most of the time.

I went into a local juice manufacturer Vermillion River here in MN to try out their juice and fell in love with it. But now I have to face the fact it is time to switch/upgrade. They have a good selection of EPV's to choose from but am having a hard time deciding what to get.

Right now I am kind of leaning towards getting a couple of Ego-Twists and switching to the Smoktech tank/carto setup, or a Lavatube with the same tank/carto setup. My Vogue has 3 settings on it and I am constantly using the highest/red setting, but as soon as the battery drains a little bit it doesn't satisfy anymore.

I have also looked at a stacked battery Smoktech setup but I have heard that stacking is bad as they are not protected.

I want to get great flavor and good clouds of vapor out of my next setup but don't want to take the plunge into a Pro-Vari or something that expensive.

Any pros/cons with the two setups I have mentioned?

Thanks for the help!

They have amazing Juice and are really nice people. If you are close I would make the trip

I'm about as close as you are. Same source city.

Check out the Ovale V8 VV. Its pretty cheap, got mine for 29.99 from Smoktek, and it does the trick. 3 - 6 volts. I saw it at Discount Vapers for the same price too.

IF you have a charger and batteries. Otherwise you need another $30 or so.

I've been using an eGo for about 2 years and recently acquired a couple of Twists. I've always been happy with them. Most of my hunting for perfection has gone into cartos and tanks. Yesterday I picked up a couple of 1.5 ohm Smoktech tanks from a local vendor and am using them now. After a little more than 24 hours they seem to be performing well. I'm using both as I generally have at least 2 flavors of juice going at any one time.

Hi, Junkie here! I am new to the forum and somewhat new to vaping. I have 6 months free of tobacco and am breathing freely!!

My first eCig was some cheap crappy kit I got in the flea market. It discourged me so bad I wasn't going to try again. My next kit was V2cigs, don't do it! The battery's go bad all the time, customer service is horrible and the 100% pg mix made my lungs hurt. When I picked up my first Joyetech product I was in love! I've tried other's like the eGo K engraved and the ones with the LED lights showing the battery life on them but so far my favorite is the eGo C-1000mAh passthrough upgrade, if I can get one that works.

I went through 3 eGo C upgrades in the matter of a week, the store I got them from was more than happy to replace them but it was a little frustrating. They give such a strong hit but it took me a little while to figure out the different mode's??!?!!! Ya I was a little confused but figured it out.

So there is a brief of my history for vaping!

So Calif
Ego C Twist should suit you fine, use the smaller Smoktech DCTank on it to keep it sleek looking. You'll need a thread cover as well.

I say this because you already have the charger and it's a nice way to slide into VV vaping without buying rechargeable batteries a charger to charge them, battery boxes to keep them in etc.

You can vape anything on a Twist you can on any other PV, you can drip, it stealth vapes easily etc.
