I've bought 2 batches of V4L's new premium blank cartomizers & have noticed a definite difference between the 2 & the original blanks. Of the 2 batches of premium blanks 1 set (hard caps) seems to work well & can be refilled @ least once or twice. The newer ones with the rubber mouthpiece plug seem to work OK the 1st time you fill them, but can't be properly refilled at all after that or other wise you either get a burned taste or they constantly spit juice in your mouth. As compared to the original blanks (which appear to have been discontinued by V4L about 1 week after the premium blanks came out) which I could refill 3-4 times with very little change in flavor or vapor production.

Has anyone else noticed this & if so are there any other KR808 blank cartos that someone would suggest?

Don't quote me 100% on this but I am 99% sure:

There are regular blanks with hard caps and o-rings left for purchase but once they sell out that is it they will not be stocked anymore.

The Premiums Blanks are available in both black and white (gold soon) and they have the soft caps with no o-rings and those will be the only blanks available once the hard cap regulars sell out.

I hope V4L will reconsider and keep the "regular blanks" available because some flavors I like do not work well in the Premium Cartos - I can't explain why exactly but I can say it isn't simply a question of voltage as I use the regular cartos on my 5v PT and Prodigy all of the time.

I may be wrong, but I believe the difference in throat hit and flavors between the regular blanks and the premium soft caps is due to the lower resistance in the coil that's used in the premium blanks. I read somewhere that that's the reason the premiums produce more vapor and run hotter. IMO, that's the reason the flavors change a bit. But, I may be completely wrong because I can't find that post to verify if my memory is right.

The soft-cap premium that was formerly a Peach carto and is currently a Cool carto that is in my pocket right this moment has been refilled nine times, washed under running water, dried, and refill eleven more times. I just filled it again a moment ago.

The vanilla soft premium have been emptied (don't like the juice) and each refilled 20+ times with either menthol regular or Cool premium. (I like the white)

They are particularly sensitive to being drawn on too hard for the first 10 draws or so. After that they don't care. Draw softer.

It looks to me like they are not only there but plenty f them in black or white at the moment.

Vapor4Life- Electronic Cigarette: Premium Cartomizers

IDK what happened! When I 1st looked @ the V4L site the regular blanks were nowhere to be found & then they were visible, but the premiums were gone. Now they are both there? I can only guess that there was a glitch on the site because I looked very carefully before posting. TY for links to both.

Are the hard caps removable? Or are they glued. Maybe the point is to have them removable, and not so much hard or soft?

Of all the cartos I have, the hard caps are thin, and require the O-ring near the wind tunnel. I wonder if this is to help juice flow towards the center of the cart, in the wind tunnel, as opposed to directly up into the vaporer's mouth (escaping atomization altogether).

But do try to draw softer, Adrenalynn's right. I've never been slimed by the factory filled cartos, the few times I did (on my own fills) I had too much juice in the cart, and a while back I omitted the O-ring. I think the premiums do not require the O-ring. The soft plugs are much bigger, they go deeper, and the filler and plug are probably close enough to each other.

I just got some of the new ones in Gold last week and they have hard caps so now I am confused. They were supposed to be the new premiums I thought.

if you clicked the gold option, you accidently ordered regular blanks. The only colors available in premiums last week were black..I think white is available now:) The older cartomizers have more color options
