Hello everyone, been lurking for a few days now and trying to absorb as much info as possible, this forum seems like its got a wonderful array of open minded and intelligent people, Im excited to talk to you all.

So I have a couple of questions, if anyone has any input, by all means-

1. I live in NYC. Does anyone know of any new laws that are actually being passed here, or is it pending legislation? All I could find was that NY law makers were trying to ban the e cigs. That already makes me feel like hoarding juice, but I don't want to until I know what kinds I want.

2. I ordered a Volt starter pro kit last night, an auto and manual battery, a short and long. Not the X2, just a regular. It was being payed for as a gift, So I figured I'd just use this as sampler of the products, and go onto something better from there. Any tips on getting the most out of the Volt standard setups?

3. I'm already looking forward to getting something else. I hear great things about Provari. Someone recommend a provari setup they like, and why they like it, or something comparable. And if you have links to get the parts for cheap, please pass on the info.

4. Seeing as how I already will have a Volt, should I even bother looking at the 510 anymore or just prepare to get a "box" type vape? I see that serious vapers will have a huge boxy contraption they use primarily. I would never use them out of my house, but I can just imagine they are way better in terms of durability, vaper production and volume limit.

The NYS Legislature recently passed a law that restricts the sale of electronic cigarettes to adults 18 and over. There have been at least 2 attempts by state lawmakers in the last year or so to ban them. Both did not pass, thanks at least in part to efforts from CASAA, its members and the e-cig community. The legislative session has ended for this year, so e-cigs are safe from NY legal efforts for at least a few months. In my humble opinion, a e-cig ban is unlikely at this point in NY.

As for your other questions, I own don't own those products, but I'm sure somebody will be along any minute to help you out.

Check out this video about using the volt product and how to get the most out of them.
all of my videos are centered around smokeless image products.

As far as upgrading, you can always move to a 510, but you don't need to. The next step after your mini would be an ego or kgo usually. The x2 is the same exact thing as a kgo. Using that would allow you to use your existing cartos. Personally, I stick with the x2 and don't look elsewhere because I will never get rid of my mini batteries. I use them when I am out of the house and at work. When I am home, I use my x2. Because the are both 808, I can interchange my cartos and clearos. Plus, SI has the best customer service in the business, IMHO.

Also, not sure if you are aware, but once you get you gear, take a picture of yourself with it and go to the "faces of volt" on their subforum here. They will give you a free battery, bottle of juice or pack of cartos.

Actually Mroutlaw, your the main reason I went with a Volt. I watched two of your videos last night, and you made a lot of good points regarding the simplicity of use. You taught me alot in that half hour. So if my Volt is any good, ill be sending you some thanks. I guess what I was asking for was maybe anything you didnt cover in your videos, maybe something you left out? What that may be I don't know, your vid was great, I signed in just to like it haha.
