Hey guys, I recently bought the Kanger subox Nano Starter kit and I am having alot of issues. I have tried several friends vapes and they blow crazy amounts of clouds and their flavors taste amazing. However when I started vaping on my one I could barely taste the flavor and my clouds were very small in comparison, also I was getting little sparks in my mouth that hit my tongue which kind of scared me. I would really appreciate some guidance thank you <3

Do you know what coil you have installed, and what settings you are using on the mod? Sounds like you're under-powered for the coil or the coil is flooding and you're getting spitback - hot juice coming up the chimney and into your mouth.
I am currently using the 0.5 coil that came with it and I am generally running it from 20-30 watts, I have tried playing around with the watts though, didn't make a dramatic difference. Also I think i figured out the coil is flooding a little bit, the spitback is quite common. Do you think i should use the 1.5 coil that also came with the box ?

No, I'd try getting the 0.5Ω coil working for you first. Minor flooding and spitback can come from having the airflow control closed down too much or drawing (sucking) on it too hard, or a combination of both. Open the airflow all the way and blow lightly into the tank - this will help clear the coil if it's flooded. Then try again and turn the power up slightly and take lighter draws for a bit and see if the spitback stops.

I tried what you said and it's still spitting, I also tried removing the coil and drying it a little with some paper towels and it's still spitting :(

You may have to take it apart & rinse out the chimney. Maybe you got some juice in it when filling. Also remove your mouthpiece & see if you have a little juice collecting there at the top you will want to wipe out with a paper towel.

I started with the Nano & still use it, although I upgraded to a Crown tank due to capacity & flavor issues. The little mod itself is very capable, though.

Thanks I'll give that a try, also just out of curiosity what flavor issues were you having with the nano? Because I am getting worried about the lack of flavor

The flavor issue wasn't a lack of flavor, just a bad flavor with the supplied tank & Kanger coils. I didn't even notice it until I tasted from a good tank my buddy had. My Crown tank & it's coils produce great flavor & vapor, but the coils don't last as long as the Kangers. Any lack of flavor you're experiencing could be just too subtle a juice or wattage not right for coil etc. You may also want to mess around with air flow control dial you have. I liked it wide open when I was using the Kanger tank. PG carries the flavor (but gives me too harsh a throat hit), VG makes the vapor. That said, I still get plenty of flavor from the high VG juices I use & excellent vapor. Really high PG juices will flood the coil sometimes, too. With Kanger .5 coil I was vaping high VG at 30 watts or so. Now with my Crown setup on top it likes about 40-45 watts, depending on the juice.
