That is my hope also. The initial investment (wick & wire) is so inexpensive, and with the wealth of knowledge available on ECF, it really is a no-brainer to at least give it a try. I Highly suggest it.

Agree 100%.

For me a coil costs about two cents, and with care will last about three months. Rewick every 2-4 days. A little wick from an organic cotton balls and my coil and wicks is mere pennies.

Can't beat that!

My friend also inform us the equipment and nic level you choose as well as the method you inhale.
My advice though you get a high nic liquid and use it with mouth to lung inhale. still no response ? than play with PG/VG rate.

It might be the nic level.

I started with kamry X6. The tank looks like innokin 30. Bought that with liqua american tobacco 12mg. I smoke light stinkies, so I chose 12mg. TH was really2 harsh, I could not inhale without coughing. Then I decided to mix my own liquid. This was 1 week after.

Bought the PG, VG, some essence, nic, magma RDA, 28g ni80 wire and protank mini 3. It was a struggle to understand the terms, techniques, knowledge. After about 4 weeks, I made my own basic ejuice which was faaar from what I wanted. Also I realize that my ego style battery was lacking. Someone told me that it can be the reason why my ejuice taste not good. So I researched mods, tanks, rta, rda and it was overwhelming to know that so many out there. At some point someone told me that I should get one of the best mods.

After comparing features, upgradability and price, I got myself a TFV4 tanks with X-cube II mod. Simply because I thought they were the most complete package. I could build my coil or go for the pre-made ones, run it in VW mode or TC with Ni200, TI and SS options. Until I used it. The taste and vapor was awesome, I tested it with the same 0mg ejuice as before. This was better in term of taste but not quite there yet, also this tank use so much more juice than my last tank. Because of this, I only make 2mg nic ejuice. And the battery drains really2 fast. I also bought nautilus soon after I found out that I could not mouth to lung inhale with TFV4. Then I started to make 18mg ejuice. Also bought evic vtc mini with tron and bellus 2 days ago because of the battery drain of my x-cube.

So far, I cannot get any nic buzz even with 18mg with nautilus which has 1.6ohm bvc coil @16w.

I have tried almost all nic available here, only 1 that has abolutely no TH. But the price is twice more expensive than the other that has harsh TH even @3mg/ml. Most of the nic that has harsh TH were imported like RTS, NicVape, Wizard Lab. I think it is because of the long shipping that make the nicotine degraded with dark brown color and provide harsh TH. I don't know for sure. The one without TH extracted locally, clear to very light yellow tint colored.

Now, I'm mixing 24mg ejuice. I hope this really is the factor why I can't get rid of the stinkies.

Until today, my consumption of stinkies go up from 20 to 30 thanks to the study and research of all of those above.

I really feel that vaping can help me stop smoking once everything settled.

G'day jjatl. I agree all the info juices etc is overwhelming. I bought a tobacco flavor with a joytech evic-vt and a nautilus. Im doing well away from the smokes but it wasn't till i got rid of ALL tobacco in the house that i fully changed over to vaping. Its different to smoking. Good but different. Get yhe temptation away and make the full change to vaping. The choices for juices and equipment is endless. Im taking it slow otherwise id be out of pocket hundreds of dollars more than now and still there is something better out there i haven't got. Take it slow. Baby steps and small mouth fulls. After you no longer smoke then change little things to make vaping more enjoyable. Just my thoughts

Ok I get it. You should not fly without learning how to. When you are offered many selections all would mix to an unknown result.
So simply leave aside the capabilities of your devices. take lowest watt of your mod. try to have 1.2 ohm coils. Because we are going to find best liquid you like.
The essence of success is to find right liquid. PG/VG rate and nic amount. Not the device. If you had seen the device which made me quit cigarettes (That I did not intend to.) you should laugh loud.
Trying every angels make you miss the point of your like.try with constant watt and constant ohm. (0.32 kenthal wire 4 folds on 2mm rod, may be a screwdriwer they give with mods&tanks you will have about 1 ohm resistance)
Than begin to try liquids. First find the liquid you like best and than nic rate. When you are happy with the result you can change resistance and watts according to your best. But first find a juice makes you happy to vape.

On your way dont bother the number of the cigarettes you smoke just go ahead with vaping and always vape before lighting one. But never fight with them.
Get rid of Hollywood effects (Lighting one when you are awake, lighting one after every meal, lighting one when talking on phone, lighting one while drinking tea coffe or bewerage etc.) by vaping first and if you still need a stinky light one.
Dont forget your aim is finding the right liquid for you. If you are not satisfied with it, increase the nic level. If TH is harsh decrease PG level. Than you will be able to vape at last. Dont worry about the amount of the cigarettes you smoke one day you will hate it anyway

After 4 weeks without cigarettes you can very well try one :) . I dont think you can finish that cigarette even with beer.

I think you are right! Tonight is poker night, and Poker is another thing that I have never done without smoking. I imagine that I am going encounter all sorts of firsts without cigarettes that I had not expected.

So tonight, I am going to play poker and drink some beer without cigarettes for the first time ever!

Dont worry. Even if you smoke one (If you can that is) It will still be less for how many. Dont fight with it :)

I will not smoke one, I just don't do not know how much of a struggle it will be. We have different opinions on this. I will fight it.

I will not allow myself to think that it will be ok to have a single drag off of a cigarette. That is how I have always fallen of the wagon.... Thinking, "Well, 1 puff is ok has always turned into, well 1 cigarette is no big deal. Then, I will ONLY buy 1 pack." By then it is over, and I have lost.

So, me personally, I will fight it, and I will not take a single drag off a cigarette... I will just puff on my vaporizer nonstop for the entire night if that is what is necessary.

But the matter is you will not like it, as before. So long as you fight you will remember smoking.

I did not intend to quit at the beginning. with the very first drag I asked myself "now that this is very much like smoking why should I smoke?" and never looked back except 7 cigarettes the Forum tired of hearing.
2-3 months later we were walking on the street and my wife wanted to smoke. She hadnt a lighter so I asked a guy and lighted it. Believe me there is not anything more nauseating than that. Remember the geek "how could I ever used this s..t" is real. Every quitter says that sooner or later.

@jjatl lets hear the story of poker night :)

Thanks for caring enough to keep up with this!!!

It was awesome!!! Drank beer, played cards, and vaped!!!! It was not hard at all and my anxiety was completely unwarranted!

To top it off, I chopped the pot with another person for 1st place in the tournament and walked away with an extra $60. Woohoo!!!

I am even more confident than ever that cigarettes are a thing of the past! They are completely behind me now!!!

Thanks for the support!!
