Hello all! I have smoked a pack a day for the past 16-17 years and have tried to quit more times than I can count. I got a evod starter kit a month or so ago and haven't smoked a cig since! I am really enjoying vaping and I am now looking at getting a DNA 40 device.

I have watched countless YouTube videos and have been all over the Internet learning all I can. I am really intrested in the temperature control feature of the DNA 40 and plan to buy the nautilus tank with the nickel wire replaceable coils to use while I learn to build my own nickel wire coils. I am looking for suggestions for dripers, rebuildable tanks and good places to buy juice online. I already plan to buy a magma rda and so far am looking at vape dudes for juice. I don't know anyone personally who vapes and I can't stand the kids who work at the vape shop here where I live so I am just looking for some direction.

Hello back at ya and congratulations on quitting sticks! I'm afraid I don't know much about the DNA temp control units but I'm sure someone who does will be along shortly. WRT drippers for flavor I agree with your choice of the Magma and for clouds I like the Mutation x. The Nautilus and mini are fine tanks using the BVC coils.

Sorry I ment to say the kids who hang out at the vape shop not the people who work there. It's a long story anyways. Thanks for pointing me to the taifun gt. I figure no matter what I need at least one tank incase I go out for the day and can't carry to much stuff with me.
Another noob question here but can someone direct me to an explanation or explain sub ohming to me? I have looked and looked and I always end up with safety tips or builds not an actual explanation of how a say .5 ohm build differs from a 1.5 ohm build. I can only guess that a lower resistance would either get hotter, hotter faster or both. However if I can limit my max temp setting with my device I am confused at how this would effect my experience.

The actual differences

Lower Ohm coils:
Creates more heat at the coil which in turn can create more vapor
Provides warmer vapor
Will drain the battery faster
May cause dry hits (burning)
May cause premature battery failure
Uses more liquid

Standard or "higher" Ohm coils:
Creates less heat at the coil which can create "less" vapor.
Provides cooler vapor
Will drain the battery slower
Uses less liquid
