Ive read that you need to use those new batteries for 20minutes and then charge them for an hour the first time. Not sure what good that does but its in a number of threads on this board.

Hopefully im getting mine today as well never did get a tracking number but been waiting since last sunday.

:D i just got my 510 kit just this moment and since i am a newbie i dont have nothing to compare it to but as far as the cart/atty business it seems just fine. the cart is nice and snug the atty works just fine. the batts were fully charged and ready to go. i charged the extra one and it only took less than 5 min to charge telling me that both were good.

like i say right now it is great, i am totally stoked and just cant put the thing down!!! the 3ml bottles of Ecopure are alot smaller than they look on the site so hint hint, buy a .... load more!

yes i was a skeptic with the whole shipping and atty/cart business but for now i am whole heartedly convinced that i made the right decision to go with IV. i was just jonesin for the Fix everyone talks about on here and now i know!!!

if anyone from IV is reading this... great F ing job! you got my business for a long time to come!!!! thanks!:D:D:D:D

Agreed...once I finally opening my kit, I was happy happy....sad that it took so long, but....

Awesome stuff....Only complaint I have is with the menthol flavor....VERY subtle....The Ecopure on the whole is pretty damn good! I am gonna have trouble putting down my cig and giving myself a nic break!

I am loving the new atomizers! I really don't care where they come from or who makes them because the vapor I am getting is unreal!

Just an FYI. If you are using the pre-filled carts that came from IV a big part of the reason your vapor is so 'unreal' is because IV uses VG liquid as opposed to PG liquid. VG liquid always kicks out more vapor that a PG based one irregardless of what atty or device you are using.

I am actually using pg liquid. The kit that I ordered from IV only had the "rich" (I think is the name) and I couldn't stand it! I emptied all the carts out and put JC menthol (pg) in them instead.

I did order another kit from IV and requested menthol but it hasn't shipped yet. I am hoping to get even more vapor with the vg AND the new atomizers!! I am excited!!

The fibers are just the wicking material that the atomizer coil wraps around. They won't impair performance if they're a little too long.

I hate those damn little fibers. They are what I taste when the cart runs the least bit dry. I thought it was the filler material at first. Then I started dripping with no filler in the cart and the taste is still there. I pulled them out of one of my attys and made it better.

How is the throat hit on the new atty?

To me the throat hit is BETTER! I LOVE LOVE the new atomizers. I had an old type exclusively for 2 weeks before I tried the new type and I am going with the new hands down.

Now I am one of the very few that actually like the new atomizers. To anyone who is unsure or new to the 510 I would recommend ordering 1 old and 1 new before stockpiling one or the other.

Maybe it's me...but the new atomizer seems to be running hotter with both battery types that I have for my 510. Sometimes it gets hot to the point that I can use it to warm up outside come winter.

The other thing that I noticed is that I have to refill more often with the new atomizer than the atomizer that came with my 510 or when I use the 4081 SE that I have (same liquids and with both VG and PG liquids).

anybody out there get any bad atty's with their kits?

i got one that is dead after one day of use, i emailed them and asked about a replacement but no word yet? anybody got any ideas? thanks.

2 of the 4 new attys i got with my order tasted rather weird (different from normal primer taste) and just didn't seem to perform right. I pm'd Noah who explained to me that not all of them break in the same. I continued to use both for about 3 weeks. One pulled through and is vaping great, but the other one died. I contacted Millie and she is replacing it no questions asked. I expect they will do the same for you.

I just received my newstyle 510 atomizer today, yes the carts I've been using in my other atomizers are insanely loose but I have a couple whistletips still in the packaging and it has a nice fit.

The problem I'm having is it doesn't seem to be wicking nearly as well as my old atomizers in that I'm only getting one really great drag with plumes of vapor and then nothing unless I set it down for a minute or so and then I get one more great hit.

I've never had anything like that with my old atomizers, I chain vape for crying out loud. The only time I don't get any vapor is when the cart is dry and I only set it down when the atomizer gets too hot to hold. I can't vape like this, I'll have to start taking an analog break while I wait for the atomizer to fill up.

I'll give it a couple more days just in case it's some sort of goofy break in thing but if that metal ring inside the atomizer is slowing down the wicking process this thing is useless.

It's problematic referring to these as "new" and "old" atomizers. What they actually are is JSB-510s (the so-called new ones) and Joye 510s (the so-called "old" ones.) the JSB-510s are third party hardware not made by the original manufacturer of the 510, which is Joyetech. That's why they don't fit the carts correctly. They're not made by Joye.

Well I almost choked to death about 5 min ago on one of these. Surf I hear where you are coming from but not everyone would understand what i was referring to if i used the product number. Just some advice...watch out with these things! I almost died!

You're not the first person to have that problem. The best advice I can give is to always request genuine Joyetech hardware.

As I've said before, I think Noah should either return the JSB hardware or list it separately on his site. It's misleading to sell these as JOYE510. If people want to take a chance on them, that's dandy. But they should know in advance exactly what they're getting.

Surf, not to sound antagonistic, but Joye doesn't stamp their product in any way, how can we be sure we are getting Joyetech products at all? If someone were to make a knockoff without the washer inserted and the atty is sized the same, how would you know if it's real or not? What if someone took an original Joye atty and put the washer in then it would be a modified joye atty, but still a joye. I have one atty that is marked J-008, not J118. I have seen no evidence that this is or isn't a joye product.

Edit: afterthought, why would anyone make a knockoff that has such obvious visual differences and not suspect to further inquiry and eventual discovery? Inquiring minds....
