@redfox: Awesome! Thanks for the vid! That's exactly the answer I was looking for! :) The cover fits 18350s so I can use them as well. But if I do, I'd probably drill several vent holes since it's a snug fit, or just use the 16340s... no biggie.

Oh, I read earlier that the ver. 1 also has an on/off switch, albeit it takes longer (15secs). Is this confirmed? Cause my friend has the ver. 1 and I'd like to tell him the good news :) Thanks again! I'll be getting one of these myself as soon as I get my next paycheck! woohoo!
This is from page 12 or 13 from Matt:
We found out that all this time the V1 has had a shut off off, the same way the v2 shuts off... =X. I believe the threading on v2 has 2 different colors.. ie there is a ribbon of threading that has a tint to it (Where the battery sleeve connects) and the threading is a bit longer.

I finally got around to trying my strawberry waffle's that I won on your show the other night. I'm not a huge strawberry fan, nor waffles so I was skeptical about this. I loaded a Boge 3ohm and put it on my P-18 at 6V. Wowzers...it packs a punch. Excellent strawberry flavor on the inhale...not an artifical tasting strawberry either... with the waffles coming through on the exhale...not an overpowering waffles. For 2 flavors I've never been fond of vaping, this one is a winner. You need to add this to your site and don't change the recipe. It'll be a hot seller.

Also received my license plate cover and Surge tank. What can I say other than thank you! If anyone out there likes tube mods but has been thinking of a bottom feeder and doesn't like the idea of a boxy shaped mod, you need to get a surge. I'm now the proud owner of 2 of them.

I got my EVO V2 yesterday addition to my EVO V1. I've tried two items here:

1. 18350 for sleeve

Yes, it worked but with some twist. I use The Bolt spare spring on the bottom of the sleeve and 18350 fits perfectly (slightly too tight but you can still pull out) BUT switch will not contact to positive nipple because switch thread has smaller diameter. So you need some kind of magnet spacer to make it work. I don't have them so I tested with scrap metal. I worked but it may cause short circuit at battery's positive end so it can be very very dangerous.

2. Kick

I use two spring at bottom and 18490 in the sleeve. No, it doesn't work not even fire it up.

Hope it clear some questions.

Thank you!! I was born and raised in Japan but I also spend 7 years in L.A. where I picked up my English. I try to use English everyday, I intended to work for international company so a half of my emails are in English.

I have both EVO V1 and V2 and I test with V2. In fact, the switch module for both are exactly same though. V2 suppose to have new ON/OFF features but my both V1 and V2 has exactly same 15 seconds protection only. There is no difference. So to me, only difference between two versions are gas vent holes on battery sleeves.

By the way, I happened to have ecig blog and it's in my latest article. (sorry it's only in Japanese)

Hello people! Just got my evo today! Most likely a ver.1 since the battery sleeve has no cover. No biggie :) I lahv it! haha... got it from a local supplier who imported some units to here (it's an evo, I made sure :) it's written under the tin. I know the SVR, 3go and evo are virtually the same, but for some reason I had to have the 'evo' version lol).

Anyway, got to go... got to vape this sucker dry :D

@samurai: got yours yet? I feel bad I got mine before you did... :)

@birks: thanks for testing if the 18350 fits... I tried it but didn't push it all the way through for fear I might not be able to take it out :)

edit: ok, i feel stupid... I tried the shut off thing and it did shut off after 15 secs. Now, how do I turn it back on without having to remove/replace the battery sleeve? :p

OK... Tracking on my EVO just showed it at my local post office - a day early! PLEASE let it make sort and get delivered today! This better not be a mail tease! The postman will suffer if it is!

Edit: why is it that normally sane adults act like little kids at Xmas every time you order vape stuff - no matter how many times you buy something!

Wow, you actually used your V2 instead of your V1 to test it out? You certainly are a CHALLENGER!!
I'll check out your blog later, don't worry I could read, speak, and write Japanese because I am Japanese too. Was born and raised in Guam.

It's here! Yeah... This thing is awesome. I am using the MK-II carto on it and these are nice but someone ELSE sale or make them that is realistic on price (hint to 310).

Just like to say Great Job to the 310 crew, this is the fastest shipping I have seen.

Hey Matt,

Just got my 3VO today in the mail and I gotta say, this thing is AWESOME!!
But was missing 1 item. I also ordered the extra plastic DT but couldn't find it anywhere in the envelope.
It's no biggie, but what should I do? Should I contact you via e-mail?

I'm glad you finally got yours Samurai :D

@samurai: great to hear you finally got yours! it's awesome isn't it? :)

I was browsing around and I saw the site of the original supplier from China. In the photo, they have a small tube that fits a single 16340 for 3.7 vaping. It was pretty stealthy. I am now looking for a steel fabrication shop so I can have a small tube made that will fit single 18350s for stealth vaping :) Also to use as backup on a long trip, in case my 16340s run out of juice, I can use my 18350s. Easier to bring a small tube + batts, rather than another mod altogether. Think it's worth to have one made?
