Hello, I am new to this forum and had a few questions.

I'll start off with a little info about me.

I've been vaping for about a year now.

My current setup is a Dovpo Guardian 1.5 mod with a Crown Uwell tank with .25 ohm dual coil setup.

My big questions have to do with RDA's as I am thinking about purchasing one.

How much better is an RDA compared to a sub ohm tank?

I'm interested in getting one mostly for tricks as I am looking at possibly getting into more tricking and maybe some comps.

I've found a Lone Wulf mod and RDA bundle online that I may purchase. Does anyone have any experience with this brand? If so would you recommend?

Also, I would appreciate any extra info that you think might be useful.

Thanks in advance!

RDA generally gives better flavor than a tank. A tank is primarily used on the go where leaking from the RDA would be a problem among other things.

Recommend staying away from serious competitions. There are vapers who excel at this with custom equipment. My guess is, anything stock, would probably be inferior to custom cloud equipment.
"looking at possibly getting into more tricking"
Suggest you keep "tricking" out of the eyes of the general non vaping public. Some folks do not get it and misunderstand vaping. I think tricking could build animosity toward vaping to the uninformed small minds. Personally, go for it and have all the fun you want.

I like drippers and tanks both. Generally, you can get better flavor out of a dripper than a tank, but that's going away rapidly with the newer subohm tanks we're seeing. The days when you can get better cloud out of a dripper are already gone. Competitions are not won with stock equipment, as has been said. Tricking will probably be easier to do with a dripper, because you can use 100% VG more easily than in a tank. I don't have any personal experience with the gear you ask about.

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

How much better is an RDA compared to a sub ohm tank?!

Well for me personally, I use my RDA's mostly at home. I like my thick, flavourful clouds quite a bit and I dont feel the need to go creating a new weather system in the street :) I do also use them in my local B&M or local vape cafe to try new flavours though, simply because it's more convenient!

Sub ohm tanks are what I use on the go, for me its less messy, I can just fill up and go without having to worry if my cotton is dry. Also I tend to use higher ohm coils in my tanks so I can keep my vapor production lower for when I'm out and about.

I guess what I'm saying is that "better" is quite a subjective term as they both have their pros and cons, for "tricking" or cloud comps cant really see why you would want a tank though...

Just my 2 cents :)

Welcome to ECF!!!
I started dripping back in the day with manual 901 batts and a 2.5ohm(I beleive) atty and just stuck with dripping.

Granted, the only tanks I tried were EGO style pen tanks. Never used a RTA but, it sounds like they are coming along.

Dripping on my Velocity clone has been really good to me, Why change it.

Welcome @SmithC :)

I have a couple of RDAs which I use at home. Have a Crown, and it's pretty nice. I think the physics behind the build of an RDA is what really cranks flavor and cloud. Lung capacity helps too :D

Just build SAFELY for your device. We don't want you to become a statistic ;)

All depends on tge vape you like.

If you likee big clouds and big airflow RDAs may be for you.

If you are a flavor chaser and dont want crazy coils or dont like dripping all tge time and hate tge taste of burning cotton; I highly recommend RTAs.

All depends on what gives you a satisfying vape abd keeps you off the stinkies.

My every day vape is a kayfun monster mini. See in my avatar.

I use 70%VG juice, and at 8 watts, i blow clouds larger than most people using 50/50 juice being vaped at 40 watts.
