Hi everyone, like many newbies i have been lingering around the forums gathering as much info as possible and finally made my purchase at puresmoker Shipping was awesome and products are great cash.... thank you so much.

After 2 days of e smoking im glad to report there are no major problems. I am carefully following instructions from many of your helpful tips and tricks.

There is only one thing i have run into that i cant find an explanation for. The 3rd battery i am using has been doing the cleaning process almost every time i am smoking it... sometimes i catch it and sometimes i don't, does anyone know if this is a result of a faulty battery or anything i can do to fix this? I cant use the battery now because it always tries to clean.

If there is indeed a chip in the battery as they claim, it sounds like yours is "confused". Probably time for a new bat...

Sounds like that third battery is faulty. Give them an email and I'm sure they'll help

I had the same problem with my black DSE901 bat ..... I tapped it hard'ish on my table thinking " well what the hell, it dont work now so i got nothing to loose" ..... It worked ... I figure that their is a switch in their ..and like a car realy it gets stuck sometimes and just needs a bit of a tap ... It worked this time ... Dont mean it will work for all .... IE .... If your going to flood your cart with liq then their is a good chance you will short out your bat..... Oh well ... !!!

the (mostly) white tube we a call a battery is more than a just battery..

inside there is a small pressure switch.. this is rubber covered and should be immune to liquid with later devices..

this switch activates some solid state chippery.. this chippery controls the power feed to the atomizer. it counts the puffs.. flashes the led on the end to send the use messages..

it controls the battery charge state.. switches the charge off and the battery off when its run down in short it does lots of things.. its also prone to failure..

so what can fail.. the actual battery in the tube wears out quickly because its too small.. this is down to use.. heavy use will wear them out quickly..

the chippery can fail at random. this is probably the cause of the high DOA factor..

the brass end contacts can fail to make good electrical contact with the atomizer..

in short lots of things can fail.. send them back if they dont work.. there are no magic secrets to fix them..
