On this I barely know what to say. It's hands down the most genius system I've used. Turn tank upside down, unscrew bottom ring, pull out, mess with as necessary (or take a pic like I just did), stick it back in, screw bottom ring back on and go about your way. After multiple tanks where I always had to disassemble the whole thing to deal with a singed wick, I can't tell you how happy I am with the deck on this thing. Wicks go in exactly like I set them, not getting pulled out of place by the chimney when I assemble it, etc. Notches ensure perfect air flow alignment, pops in and out in seconds, what is there not to like?

Agree about it keeping your wicks in place. My issue with it personally is it's just really hard to get in and out- especially out. Maybe because my fingernails aren't very long, but I can't easily grasp it by the 510 threads to pull it out, so I have to just claw at it until it's out, or screw it on to an ohm meter then pull the top off.

On the topic of leaking:

Redid again with more cotton, still not enough I suppose, if that is the issue. Now using significantly more than I ever needed in the Goliath which has a very similar deck.

To be clear, I'm not getting any leaking during use. I'm getting one quick leak right after filling when opening the air flow.

This is my first top-fill tank, so maybe I'm doing something wrong:

1. Close off AFC completely
2. Fill tank from top
3. slowly screw on top

Things go wrong at step 4- open the AFC so I can actually use it, then the juice comes out. After screwing that top on there's pressure above the liquid and when the afc is first open some dumps out. It's fine after that but I don't want this thing to leak at all when I fill it.

Am I missing something obvious here?

Leaking, like in most tanks, is going to come down to wicking issues on your end, or a missing O-ring. If you're not missing an O-ring somewhere, it's wicking. You want a fat tail that extends to, but not (much) beyond, that first line on the deck. Do that and it's not going to leak.

Yes, they should have used thicker O rings for friction, but so far been a minor issue.

Totally agree on this wicking style, only slightly (~1 mm) into the juice channels is all you need to prevent flooding and keep the wicks in position. Same as Goliath, Goblin, Cthulhu, Billow, etc.

Also agree about the threadless deck attachment. No turning means no disturbing the position of the wick ends. Very smart.

Just with other top fill tanks, turn it up-side-down before opening the AFC. That's all there is to it! This will allow it to burp any pressure in the tank. Once done, turn it right side up, and draw a puff or two immediately. With or without firing it. this will give it the vacuum it needs to maintain the balance, without leaking from filling.

Got my Bellus tanks in today!

Put SS430 28G 2-strand twisted dual coil 0.18 builds in both of them.
Set at 230F 30W resistance locked at 0.18 on my VTC Mini.

Loving it so far - no leaking at all for me, even with the initial filling.
My AFC rings both have great resistance - they turn smoothly but definitely won't move on their own.
Flavor is good - but I'm running fresh made DIY (which I suck at) juice in both of them, so that needs more time.

I find the airflow quite a bit more restrictive than both of the other tanks I've owned - iSub and Supertank Mini.
I'm running the Bellus wide open while both of the others I closed off some.

Still, I wanted to get away from pre-built coils and into a tank that easy to build on and performed well - the Bellus really fits the bill.

I threw my first build into it a 28g twisted kanthal 7wrap at about .38 ohm and I wicked it just like I do with my zephyrus and no leaking at all...... Running it at 40w no dry hits and wonderful flavor

Thanks for the tip, Knifemaker. I guess that should've been obvious.

I tried it again- filled with AFC closed, inverted, waited for the bubble to go up, then opened the AFC. As soon as I opened the AFC, liquid fell out of the drip tip. This makes me think the liquid was already in the chamber and just being held by the vacuum- and perhaps it flooded during the filling?

If no one else is having issues I'm obviously still doing something dumb. Just not sure what.

You're not doing anything dumb, pal. Just not enough cotton. I put the fattest wicks I can fit in my coils. And then fluff them out to make sure they're wide enough at the top of the channels to ensure liquid won't bypass the wicks on a refill.

You're not alone. When I first got mine, I had this exact problem. Fat yet short wicks fixed everything for me. Can you snap a pic so we can see your deck? Maybe we can see what's the deal!

I was finally able to log in at Efun Top. Mine says processing, too. I think I've learned my lesson on preorders. I'm better off waiting for stock to come into a place, and then buying if I don't want a long wait
Preorder prices are pretty good though!! Especially for a cheapskate like me.

I agree. I jumped on the efun pre-order also and I am not worried about when it gets here, as long as it gets here.

Hell I have been waiting on my evic mini since september 17'th and it finally just shipped. Fasttech is a new love of mine because it doesn't really bother me how long something takes if I get a great deal on it.

If I absolutely needed something right away I would probably just order from canvape.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to order and have it in my hands within 2-3 days, but I'll sacrifice wait time for price.

But, I think some here who didn't preorder paid about the same price I did anyway. That also happened to me with the ipv d2 as well. I preordered, waited forever, 101 used the worst shipping possible so I had a 2 week wait to get it. And a friend paid the same price the day they came in stock at another place, and had his in 2 days.

I'm feeling the same. Plus guilty because I posted the efun.top offer here.
