It's crazy how you guys are saying it is leaking. The only time it leaks is if you don't have enough cotton to block the juice hole. If you do not want it to leak, just stuff the juice hole with cotton.

This is not the best wicking method and it is, from my experience, a little bit too much. you can still cut off the tails inside the juice channel and it still won't leak on you.

what batt said, this thing requires a longer wick with more cotton for top fill to not leak. Also make sure you position your coils directly behind the bottom air flow hole...
I'm sorry, but what bottom air flow hole? The Bellus only has side air flow.

bottom / side, usually new tanks have bottom/side airflow, I just call it bottom
There's a significant difference. Most modern rtas have air flow to the bottom of the coil, with air intakes at the base of the atty. Rtas like the Bellus and Aromamizer have direct air flow to the side of the coil (as common in most rdas).

Your Wicks are too Long....
and, too "bushy".
You are robbing yourself of Flavor and restricting the Air Flow. Yes, it obviously "works" but with muted Flavor and Mass.
Thin it out a tad (about 25-33%) and trim the Length so it ends at the Deck cut-outs and you will get a significantly better Vape.

Fact: IF your Bellus is Leaking when Top-Filling (or at all),
You ARE doing something Wrong.
The real Issue is User Error and NOT the Tank itself.
Sorry and no offense but Truth is Truth regardless of who's feelings get hurt by it.

The Tank will have a slight "Seepage" from the AFC at times due to sudden changes in ambient Temp and Pressure same as all RTAs. If you force Juice into the Tank too quickly (and/or too full) it will break Vacuum and start a siphon-type flow and thus a Dump situation. If you over-fill it, it will leak/seep as well.
Always leave about the top 1/8" of the Tank empty to create an Air Pocket inside so the Tank can Equalize and create proper Vacuum and feed correctly.

Actually, after getting to work and looking at your Pic on a 24" HD Monitor (not just the Galaxy s6 Activ's small Screen-bad eyes-old) your Wick Length looks about right. They do need to be thinned out. Would need to see from the other side (90* turn Lft or Rt) to really tell.
However, the Length looks great (IMO).
Sorry Bro, my bad ;)

we all talk about flavor, vapor, aesthetics but rarely do we talk about how an RTA sounds when we vape the hell out of it...

that being said, the Bellus has the best SOUNDING vape out of all my RTAs and Clearos...thing sounds like a damn turbine.

Wow,,,, an Aspect I'd never considered. And ya know, You're Right!
Sounds like a finely tuned Turbo steadily purring along at cruising speed.
It's gotta be the well-designed Intake combined with the "Rifling" in the Chimney.

Clearly a factor Pbusardo should add to his rta evaluation scores. Perhaps a bunch of vapers with different tanks could get together and make some music :)

At what resistance is best for flavor in this tank?
That's a very difficult question, impossible to answer absolutely really. The build needs to fit the preferred wattage, your vaping preferences, the coil material, the particulars of the liquid you're using, and so forth.

I've inly done one build on this rta so far. Sitting at 0.4 just simple dual kanthal 28 (or was it 26) gauge.

Flavor is good. Vapor perhaps a bit less compared to my billow v2 and zephyrus v2.

The juice in there is cosmic fog milk and honey. Not sure about pg vg ratio

Imo the bellus doesn't sound like anything I've used so far. Great sounding rta. Yes I think reviewers should start adding that to their scoreboard or at least give a show and tell on sound

My 2 are run Single-Coil, 26ga Ti-built, 6/5 wrap on a 2.38mm bit, yielding a 0.24 ohm Resistance.
Run one on a VS-VF (DNA 40 Chip) set at 21 Watts & 390* F (have to run Offset since DNA40 has no Ti Mode and only calibrated for Ni200).
Run the other on an Asmodus Snow Wolf 75 mini in Ti Mode set on 468* F (It modulates the Watts on its own).

Both filled with 80VG/20PG 12mg Nic Liquids from Mech Sauce.

Tickles my Fancy quite nicely :thumb:

Are you using a mech? If not, build for surface area and resistance doesn't matter as long as you aren't near your regulated mods limits. As Ken stated, it's not really an answerable question.

In general, to increase surface area build parallels, twisted, claptons, add more wraps on a coil, increase inside diameter, or use bigger wire gauge. With claptons and bigger wire gauges you will need more watts. Personally to increase surface area in the Bellus I just add on more wraps or go up .5mm. This isn't a huge deck and doesn't take big coils, but they really aren't needed here for maximum output.
