New Youde RTA the Bellus

Got mine this morning, Dual .22 gauge 2.5mm .25 Ohm build barely fit with no room to spare. I've run this build to 70 watts so far 80vg, nothing even hinting at a dry hit. No gurgling, leaking even after a fill, dropped the build deck for a couple pics you can see how saturated wicks are, this was after nearly two tanks full.

Flavor is very good, even with air flow fully open, closed the airflow down to just a single hole on each side about half open, tightens right up, should be good even for those that like highly restricted MTL. Airflow will seal off completely.

Haven't tried single coil build yet, but should be quite nice as well. Think it should work out nicely even for those occasional "Tootle Puffers" (Roxy?) . I've got a fair number of Dual coil tanks, unless the Bellus Self destructs its gained my top spot in category.

Super easy to build, simple/quick access to the build deck without emptying tank, easy to fill, exceptional performance & flavor, ample air flow adjustment with enough range it should meet the sweet spot for the majority.

Absolutely clean on arrival, not even a hint of the dreaded machine oil.

Less wick in the channels would probably be easier, I comb my tails out a bit to thin them, I do pretty much the same on similar tanks like the Zeph, Goblins, Goliath, Think I've got the density of the tails down pretty well. I know many build with less down the channels, but for me its a bit more leak resistant, and worth the time to get density of the tails set.

Same here, I was staring at my mailbox up the driveway from my house and thinking "too cold too lazy etc." Then someone that lives with me walked in the house with the mail. Thank god. My afc ring is loose anyone else's? Oh Ya, nickel purity set to 45, 7 wrap 26 gauge Ti around a 2.4, .16 ohms.

EDIT: wicked great. Flavor is 8 outta 10. Diggin the tip fill. Worth the $24.

My 101 preorder arrived today.

Initial thoughts:

• I wicked it how I wick the goliath 2, but with a touch more cotton than I'd typically use per suggestions here. Still leaked really bad while filling- I'll try even more cotton and see how that affects it next time.
• Love that i can fit a glass dropper into the fill port. If more cotton solves the leak issue it will be great.
• Super airtight design. If I close the air flow ring all the way and puff, it's completely closed off. I can't say the same for my Goliath or Goblin.
• Incredibly efficient- going to have to drop the nic level for this one. It went through about 2.5ml in mere moments and I could feel the nicotine.
• Tolerance is really tight on the drip tip- soak the o ring in VG or it's going to just rip in half.
• Airflow ring isn't super tight but doesn't seem to matter.
• I didn't hear a 'click' when inserting the deck, wasn't sure if it was in all the way.
• I removed the deck to do my build while on an ohm meter. Nothing to grip on to after that to unscrew it, maybe that's not the right method.

I wish my mailbox was at the end of my driveway unfortunately it's a street over because the develop,met I live in is new and the mailboxes aren't in front of anyone's house yet lol..... It's now 5pm and it's still in my mailbox..... As well as my 4 bottles from my BOGO on a sale swft sauce ran nichrome 26g wire and a zephyrus v2 prototype...... Thanks for the tip- that actually sounds different than I how I wick Goliath, I do leave a tiny bit of a space surrounding the wick in the channel from a birds eye view. I won't do that next time aeround on the bellus.

Got my 101Vape order today and quickly tore into it. I am coming from the Lemo 2 as my daily beast of choice. Originally was going to upgrade to the Aromamizer, but passed based on the quirks with the airflow, and when I saw the Bellus announcement I couldn't pre-order fast enough. This is my first atomizer of any kind from Youde.

First impressions of the machining was very good. Found a little machine oil up in a recess, cleaned it up with a qtip and dish soap. A few metal burrs in the post holes, also easily cleaned up.

Built a dual coil of 28g 2.5mm ID, 8 wraps, came out to 0.77 ohms and hitting it at 30W. Wicking was .... simple.

Top fill was super easy even from my 10 ml graduated cylinder I had whipped up a quick batch of the same juice I had in my Lemo 2. Going to be a nice improvement.

Zero leaking of any kind.

Flavor is comparable to my Lemo 2, a little stronger but nothing mind blowing. Not surprising since the Lemo 2 is well regarded for the flavor.

Air flow is ridiculously open, even with me running with the air only open 1/3, much easier draw than the Lemo 2.

AFC ring is a too easy to turn in my estimation but not going to move without you touching it so may not be an issue, will need to spend more time with it to know. If it is, could fix with putting some thicker o rings on it for more friction.

Don't care for how it's just the drip tip on top of the tank, but a very minor issue I probably won't notice in a day.

Vapor production is very good, get a good lung full of vapor in about 40%-60% of the time it took with the Lemo 2 with a better nic hit.

Biggest change I will need to get used to is the sizzle. The coils are sitting there right behind the air holes. Makes as much noise as when you test fire a coil on a naked deck after you wick and prime.

Build quality compared to Lemo 2 is a poor comparison, Lemo 2 is built like a tank out of very heavy gauge stainless. This is much lighter gauge stainless, but not flimsy in any way.

Needless to say, it drinks juice. Good thing I DIY. Will be trivial to go through 20 ml in a day with this thing.

Definitely an upgrade in function, just not in form.

This deck is just as easy to build a dual coil on as the velocity style. Only difference is top grub screw vs side grub screw (and phillips vs hex but that is even more inconsequential).

On the other hand, not ready to declare it "the one". If SteamCrave came out with a V2 Aromamizer with top fill, unpluggable deck, and the airflow issues addressed, I would likely give it a try. Will say, though, that I have found my ideal *style* of tank. Vapor, flavor, ease of building & wicking are all spot on. Build quality and style could be improved upon, but I honestly don't see where you could markedly improve the generals.

I haven't had much luck getting it to not leak after filling or during use. That airflow control is too loose. I do not like the way the deck attaches to the tank. Disappointed for now.

Leaking, like in most tanks, is going to come down to wicking issues on your end, or a missing O-ring. If you're not missing an O-ring somewhere, it's wicking. You want a fat tail that extends to, but not (much) beyond, that first line on the deck. Do that and it's not going to leak.

That airflow control is too loose.

Yes, they should have used thicker O rings for friction, but so far been a minor issue.

I do not like the way the deck attaches to the tank.

On this I barely know what to say. It's hands down the most genius system I've used. Turn tank upside down, unscrew bottom ring, pull out, mess with as necessary (or take a pic like I just did), stick it back in, screw bottom ring back on and go about your way. After multiple tanks where I always had to disassemble the whole thing to deal with a singed wick, I can't tell you how happy I am with the deck on this thing. Wicks go in exactly like I set them, not getting pulled out of place by the chimney when I assemble it, etc. Notches ensure perfect air flow alignment, pops in and out in seconds, what is there not to like?

Tip: 2 minute fix to the AFC ring: I put a single piece of normal frosted scotch tape inside the ring between the air hole rings on only one side and trimmed off excess with a utility blade. Completely invisible fix that made the friction perfect for me
