Got mine last night, threw the coils that came with it in and was impressed with the vapor production but the flavor was lacking to me. I also got some new wire at the same time, so I mad my first clapton with 26g n80 wrapped with 38g n80 put dual 6 wraps at 2.5mm. Ohms out at .3 and barely fit but chucks the clouds and great flavor, but I can watch that liquid level drop with every draw. However I have to draw for a good 5 or 6 secs before I get any hint of a dry hit with 100% vg.

is anyone else using titanium temp coils in the Bellus? I wonder if the poor experience I had with the coil placement was more apparent with titanium coils.

Anyone else's Bellus leak like a faucet? It leaks out of the airholes whenever I turn them open after filling it up. I don't think it's the o-rings, because it's a brand new device. Could it be I'm not using enough wicking material/placing it wrong? I tend to use little (1-2cm wide strips) and make the wick ends halfway down the juice channel or just hits the deck. Every reviewer I've seen uses a lot of cotton (in more of a puffy style) rather than the twisted strips I make. Also, I'm using max vg juice (Apfelstrudel from MtBakerVapor), although because it's so thick I don't think that's the culprit.
I'm using Ti. Placement seems to make a big difference but I don't think the coil material makes that so. I wouldn't think that another coil material would be any more or less forgiving as far as placement goes.
It's a real challenge to get zero leaking during a fill, at least for me. Others had better luck. I just resigned myeslf to bottom filling through the juice vents.
BUT, in the video Croak posted above- I watched it get filled with no seeping right in front of my eyes. He's also using longer wicks there than I would and doesn't even attempt to pretty them up into the channels. Might be worth a try.
I don't get any leaking with my super high coil build. I posted a picture of it earlier.
There's no real need to "pretty them up", since you don't have to worry about getting wicks all properly trimmed and ordered inside the juice channels so they won't get stuck in the barrel threads, because, well, no barrel threads. Old habits die hard, I know.

Since temp control depends on predictable resistance change of the coil, and the resistance changes as the coil heats, an inconsistently heated coil will negatively effect the temp control.
Since some people are having success with coils directly in front of the air slot, and my titanium temp coils performed very poorly there, I am wondering if Kanthal coils would work well in front of the air slot, but temp control coils don't.
I'm having some problems with wicking now. I'm working through it, trimming and trying again.
Sliced a drip tip o ring and replaced with the spare. Now I'm afraid to take the tip off again. I need to find something else to use in place of the o ring.

That's where I preordered from. Had to give them a little nudge though to get it shipped.
Mine is still chugging away with the .25 ohm 22 gauge 2.5mm build I posted earlier, I've rewicked a couple times using same method, zero leakage, no closing AFC when filling, 70 watts nice dense fully saturated vape, nothing even close to dry hits, great flavor, juice is minimum 80VG. Agree on not bothering to much with "prettying up" the wick.
How do these compare to the flavor of the goblin mini?

Just had mine for 3 hours and going thru the 20th ml of juice. Running with dual coils 24g 5 wraps 2.5mm id coil height at exactly next to the airflow hole. 0.19 ohms hitting at 60w on my xcube2.
I never thought I would put down my Zephy tank for it. Just love the flavour out of it. Never had a chance to try out the Goliath v2 thou so can't compare.
At first I thought it would leak like crazy. First round did as I trim the wicks just like the zephy which is too thin and leaks. Second round with thicker wick does the job.
Also tried it at 65w on my ipv4s. Still runs well.
Loving it so far.

P.s. I still think the goblin mini runs better on the ipv4s.
Silentseeker, are you using Kanthal, or temp coils?
I prefer to make my juice at 65%-70% vg so I'm sure that's a factor.
