Thanks, I'm sure I'll start going the DIY path soon. Here's a question...what's the deal with VG or PG, and the various mixtures of each, ie. 70%-30%, 60%-40%, 50%-50%?

In my uneducated opinion, PG gives more flavor & throat-hit, VG produces more vapor but it also mutes the flavor somewhat. Some people have different preferences & in my case, I'm very sensitive to PG (allergy), so I do mostly VG with distilled water but still use a drop of the PG. The beauty is that it's all up to you & what you're taste buds like........:)

As others have already stated, if what you have is working then all is true and well. :thumb:

You didn't say what juice delivery device that you are using. There are several options to look into if you are curious to see how they might improve your vaping experience. All of these work a little differently in how they carry the juice and produce the vapor, and everyone ends up liking one over another. So many options can be confusing to a newcomer to vaping, but in reality multiple options are a good thing. One might work better for you than another, and you will never know unless you give them a try.

I made a picture dictionary of the more common juice delivery devices here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...rto-tank-what-juice-delivery-attachments.html

There may come a point in time when you want to fine tune your flavors with a variable voltage eGo, like a Vision Spinner or Joye Twist. Most flavors taste better at different levels of heat, and a VV battery can offer you that opportunity.

For instance, a fruit flavor might taste best at 3.5 volts, a coffee or tobacco flavor might taste best at 4.5 volts, and a flavor like cinnamon might taste best at 5 volts. It's amazing that such a small difference in heat can affect how your flavors taste.

THIS is the sentence I've been waiting for! It's all falling into place. I couldn't understand the whole voltage-ohms-resistance stuff, but this makes perfect sense. Why didn't ya'll say so before

Congratulations on quitting the stinkies. I'm no veteran. Had my last cigarette the Saturday morning after Thanksgiving. Forget about saving money. The temptation of all the zillions of vapor flavors is just too great. I agree with KraKsX when he said "vaping is like smoking but BETTER". I love the ego system for ease of use. I think the thing to remember is to use up what you have before spending endlessly for more and better. I wish I could follow my own advice. I have enough batteries, clearos and flavors to keep me going well into next year, but I continue to order new flavors and covet new equipment. I have my eye on the eGo Battery Big Barrel 1300mAh but probably won't need it until at least a year from now. I feel that my big discovery of this year, after dealing with problematic Stardust clearos, is the T3 BCC because it travels with you, in the car, in your tote, or rolling across the floor, WITHOUT LEAKING, to me, a miracle.

Vape on and have fun.
