Newbie - Changing flavours - Cartridge/atomizer question

Hi all

Got an eroll starter kit with the tobacco 18mg flavour. Absolutely hate the flavour of it, and the smell and taste make me feel sick...so I've got some other flavour eliquids coming.

Question is, do I have to clean anything before putting a new cartridge in, or can I just put it in and it'll work fine? That atomizer currently smells of the old stuff.

I washed the tank in hot water and the atomizer in alcohol and let them dry overnight... Then I got tired of waiting and just put on new flavour in the old tank with minimal cross flavour

YOU also must clean atomizer Because wick is smell...put it into isopropil alchohol

The wicks in the Eroll as very small... that's why flavor is muted I think.... so I just put some plain PG/VG in the tank and vape thru the last flavor on the wick. It only takes a few puffs for the old flavor to leave. Some times I add a drop of distilled water to make the plain thinner as it seems to get rid of the old taste faster. I wouldn't think there would be enough juice on those tiny wicks for the flavor to make you feel sick. The only time I let wick dry is if I'm storing them anyway when washing a bunch at a time. Its never made sense to me to let something I'm going to wet anyway dry first.

I've discovered some interesting flavor combinations by dumping a new juice into a nearly empty tank ...

If you don't like it, the combo is gone soon enough ...

Although I once ordered a "bacon flavor" juice (because I love bacon). It was SO strong and SO extremely repulsive, I actually had to discard the tank, atomizer, and even the battery, the stench was permanent. My house smelled so bad I had to open every window and door in the middle of winter ...

So it is possible to "contaminate" an atomizer, but only with a very foolish choice of juice ...

Trust me, I've done this ...

Thank god I saw ur post... I was debating on ordering the bacon to have with my morning coffee... Since stupid doc says I should be eating healthy

I put menthol
One time in tank...and few puffs was good but after that i want my favorite ry4 WITHOUT menthol smell.i
Must clean all to remove it from my eroll

I think Canadian Bacon is OK for you ...

There may be a bacon-flavored juice out there that's good, but the one I got was beyond nasty ...

I added hazelnut coffee to a tank after pleasure island and it never lost the p.i. taste. I think if the flavors are close it's okay. The cinnamon roll to gram cracker was really good. ha
