My mini e cig (DSE-901) arrived this morning.
It's a pleasure to use and I reckon we will get on fine apart from one major problem, it tastes awful!
I am a heavy smoker and use Cutters Choice rolling tobacco, the cartridges are regular tobacco flavour, high strengh (18mg).
The taste is sickly, and stays in the mouth for ages, I can also smell it on my hands for ages and actually feel physically sick for the first time in years!
Any ideas please as I really want to stick with this but was hoping for the tobacco taste rather than the other available flavours.
Problem with doing that callan is every time you post nothing..you push this thread to the top for no reason.. so more inportant threads are of the main page..you would of been better contributing to the different threads on your newbie section rather than just posting for the sake of it.Sorry about that, just moving my post count up so I can participate in the other forums.

You mean I am not alone? I always thought since my vanilla eliquid arrived, it sure tastes delicious, it smelt like Baileys irish cream liquor(spelling) and I wanted to drink it!!

As for licking your fingers, the only juices I would do that with are Johnsons Creek and Freesmoke. The rest have a nasty bitter taste to me no matter how they taste when vaporized. The first time I got liquid in my mouth with Freesmoke I was amazed that I didn't have to rush to the sink to rinse my mouth.
I can definatly say I dont enjoy the liquid in its raw form, the MLB from janty though actually simulates a marlboro in liquid form, but not at all in vapour. I have really enjoyed the RY4's though.
Hey Callan - glad to hear its improved!! I got mine yesterday and detest it! lol I am waiting for some e-liquid to arrive in the hopes it will improve it somewhat but it helps to know that you've kept with it and "come out the other end" so to speak!

I've tried one of my hubby's roll-ups yesterday and must admit that the tobacco-flavoured juice doesn't even come close. Alas it also made me light up a couple of my old cigs. The last time I tried that (last Friday) I thought they were disgusting and stubbed one out after just a few drags, yet yesterday I smoked two. The roll-ups have a much nicer flavour than normal filter smokes though.
I reckon it pays to persevere with the e-cigs. There's gotta be a right combination of strength and flavour out there for everyone

I've found myself rubbing the juice onto my gums8-o - it's OK in private but makes you look like a coke head when you do it in the pub
