Newbie! Cooler vape?

Hello

I'm new to sub ohming. Currently have a kangertech sub box and sub tank mini, single coil at .5ohms , vaping at 18 watts.

At the minute I'm finding 18 watts a bit too warm, even with the airflow wide open. I've done a few simple coil builds myself, but nothing fancy.
I was wondering how I would go about getting a dense, cooler vape but not sacrificing flavour. I have 28 gauge kanthal at hand.
I have searched the forum before hand but get a bit lost when others mention using an rda. I just want to get familiar with my kangertech rba without venturing into rda's .

More wire = cooler vape.... Try higher ohms, or thicker wire.. Maybe twist 2 strands of the 28 together(if its all you have). Go to steam-engine.org and experiment with builds.
