Well I haven't bought the hybrid adapter yet... but yes to everything else? lol!

Also appreciate the kind words. I'm trying to catch up to everyone else. Being a newbie, it's about investment. Mainly time. Lots to learn. I'd like to learn enough that I can help others, as I was when I posted this thread.

I'm a car and gun guy so I do have a lot of experience with fabrication, building, tuning, electrical... the company I worked for had a rally team for a while... so it was a hobby turned professional. I'm a bit of a tinkerer, modder by nature. So, I'm sure that helps.

Nice looking coil! :D I think you have caught up! :)
Try using 1/16" bit with 28 or 30gauge. Bring it down to 1 - 1.3ohms. Lots of people (including myself) find that to be a sweet spot. Also try using less cotton. Excess cotton on the other side of deck will just holds the juice and doesn't help with wicking that much. Less is more with cotton. If you have a gap in your daily vapemail, order a magnet kit for your new nemi. :p
Oh, once you start going down on ohms, you might find the bigger hole vape better. It brings out the flavor better. When you vape, have the hole facing up or to the side.
Anyway, impressive amount of research and fine looking coils. :thumb:

Im glad i found this post cause i was wanting to know the same thing recently quitting smoking cigs four days ago. More or less i wanted to find some inout on my first setup and where/what i could move onto inthe future.

My setup consists of
Tenacious 7 Breeze LED starter kit w/ touch charger and 2.5 ml clearomizer and also included a battery but i dont know how to determine type.:-(
Lush gummy bear 24 mg
Tenacious 7 Red Steer 18 mg
Time 2 vape watermelon 18 mg...favorite so far mixed with a tad bit of lush gummy
Time 2 vape mocha 18 mg..harsh but deters the crave quickest
No name house blend dr.pepper 24 mg...
Aspire bdc 1.8 ml tank/clearomizer (wickless idk whats that considered or the difference...yet)
Also 2 time 2 vape 2.5ml clearomizers..once again i think

If possible i would love input on possible additions or upgrades i might need/want to do.

Thank yall for the help

Learned the excess cotton was a no - go 5 minutes after I ran it a little. It stayed wet, but did not migrate to the cotton near the coil and I had to drip anyway. Now I leave the tail just to the edge of the post touching the deck, and the same length tucked under the coil on the close side. (The side jammed up against the top cover.) This works WELL. And does not waste juice.

I did... hmm... 11/12 turns of 28g on a .063 sized bit last night. I think it was 1.7 ohm? She snapped the IGO out of my hands and a dozen juice bottles and went to town for quite a while on the micro coil. So I'm guessing she was happy with that. I wound that one way better. It didn't shimmy, it stayed a perfect little tube.

So the air hole in the cap. I put it directly in front of the coil. I don't always pay attention to whether it is up, down, etc. I give it a quick push to make sure it's clear and then pull. (I'm not really doing direct lung inhales) Doing a lot more sharp mouth then lung with the partial nose exhale. It's like a triple tap and good for tasting IMO. She does about the same thing.

The Helios I doused with a 6mg cotton candy (from VIP - it's like CRACK... omg so good!) and opened up the air all the way and did a direct inhale and blasted off a pretty serious cloud. I think that was a dual .7-.8 ohm? I ran through a few things on both so I can't remember. But with the Sony fresh off the charger that was pretty serious. (to me at least) Honestly I don't particularly like the heat, or the flavor with the lower ohm stuff. Nor do I like the direct lung hits. I love the Helios deck... but the AF control is fiddly as .... And where I like it. (Nearly closed completely) Is so easy to bump.

The aqua is the opposite. It's like... hard to use. There are like five threaded portions that are unreal tight to turn without disrupting something else. But once you set it up... it is just - dead on, and it stays that way. And the chimney gives you that tight dense flavor. Throat hit on a fresh battery is ......ed even on the 1.8 ohm it shipped with. The juice control is ingenious. It is a do everything tank. And no leaks. It's just big, heavy, and cranky to adjust or fill. But seriously, crazy good.

It came with silica in it, and I think that may be the way to go on it. I got zero dry hits. You can just keep puffing on it. If you get the airflow and juice control in harmony it just keeps rolling. PITA, but worth it.

Hey Asmo6, i noticed your fairly new yourself here and how involved on your mods/harware knowledge is. As a former racecar mechanic and "stock is not an option" type guy where would u recommend the best source of research or most reliable so to say. Im in the process pipe engineering field so not all of this is exactly foreign to me but i think im ready todive in:)

Another side note is that the Moon Mountain juices are good. Like, good good. The colorful backstory behind all the stuff makes you kinda go... uhm... are we 12? But their stuff is legit. First time every flavor I bought was good - period. Right out of the box. No steep. Just - bangin' immediately.

The pom lemonade one went right in the aqua. The watermelon mint one is equally fabulous. Again, they are all good. If you haven't tried any of their stuff. I would.

Quick question for you Siri. The 18650 battery still required me to take the trim ring and the smaller section of tube out to run it. Are these to use a kick AND a 18650 AND a fuse? I thought the full set of tubes would just be the 18650.
Yes the kick ring is the smallest ring of the 3..The beauty ring can also be used in kick mode.
18650 batteries shouldn't drain that fast bro, unless you're chain vaping! :D
Mine last all day on a .90 micro coil build.

Here's a setup video for the kick bro;

Okay.

So you've been vaping for like 11 minutes, and you're building perfect coils, buying hybrid adapters, and watching Safer Vapers in your spare time.

:)

Welcome to ECF, Comrade. You are clearly an awesome human being.

How many peeps you ever seen caught on this quick? I was 3 months in before I wrapped my own micros. lol
Well done Asmo bro! :D

Where? Here! Everything I search leads back to ECF! So I joined! I spent a ton of time on YT. I'm a visual learner. And a hardware guy. So when I get "key words" I search them. Siri said nemesis. So I looked up nemesis. And while watching reviews and information people always mix in other details. This atomizer. So then I look up that atomizer. Then I watch people build them. And they talk about ohms. Wire size. Wicks. So I look up other atomizers like it. Then I go to stores. And look those up. Watch people build those. What's a sentinel? What's a trident? Genesis? Look them all up. And by process of watching and reading the in between starts to sink in. Oh he's wrapping loose. What did he say that coil was? People by nature side track and ramble. And you can pick up a lot of related things when they do. But how I learn, aka just crunching everything I can through my brain and scouring the internets... May not work for you.

You could always start a thread and ask whatever you want!

I said it before and I mean it. If all I had was this ego style spinner (variable voltage) and a mini protank... I still wouldn't be smoking.

The rest is kinda like the bear went over the mountain to see what he could see. Remember that. And get your daily driver set up RIGHT first. All the cool mechs and atomizers don't mean a .... thing if you start smoking again. Find that set up that makes you go. Yup. Never smoking again. THEN, with the peace of mind. Enjoy the rest vaping has to offer.

So then, thanks for suggesting the nemesis. Its a versatile mech! Not sure about the kick yet. Lots of peace of mind. But its a big governer. Cuts the fun pedal off at 15W? Maaaaan...

Siri is IMPRESSED! ;)

Glad I proved to be worth your help!

Well done Asmo bro! :D

Dude you've been here helping every step of the way. I am genuinely thankful for the guys who stuck around past hi and welcome to keep me going.

I'm using a Sony 18650 VTC4. Maybe that first charge wasn't as good as the second. I took it to work at 4.1v and came home at 4.02v. I'm topping it off now. And I literally DRAINED the aqua. So yeah. Maybe I'm just paranoid as I can't monitor it.

This is the Helios with a soggy wick! It slumped down a little sitting overnight. It was tucked a little better. But I bet it hits good now that its totally soaked through.
Its exactly 1 ohm. 28G. Looks like those were wrapped on the 3/32. So .0937 ish? diameter? They're a little werbeley.

Here is the IGO-L. Quick change flavor mode. Hit it 2-3 times. Next flavor. It clocks at 1.7 ohm. 28G .062 diameter.

Lots of coverage. Pretty concentric and stayed in line Ok. Can put it on any mod. VV/VW or mech. I wrapped in way tighter. 12 ish turns? Both ends are tucked under otherwise - poof.

Aqua clone looks good!

Get yourself a reliable VV/VW with some tank system first. Get that into auto pilot, so you can continue to stay off analog. When you start doing rebuilds, you will not get reliable and consistent vaping and it can easily throw you off. First few months, this can easily set you back to analog. So, get some VV/VW mod with carto/clearo tank and do some juice shopping first.
If you get a VV/VW tube mod like vamo or sid, you can use it for rebuilds as well.

if you want to start your own "here i go!" thread, be happy to help out there.

I think this is what you have?

Breeze - Touch Charger E-Cigarette Double Starter Kit (Liquid) by Tenacious 7 Vapor | Tenacious 7 Vapor

See this is where experience trumps recently gained knowledge... I only know what I know yet. I have no idea what that is! What I was able to reverse engineer is that it uses ce7 clearomizers. Which after looking those up appear to be for the ego style batteries. The 5 tap clear lit button also made me think ego. And if it's threaded ego/510 style, most stuff will fit it. The bottom charging base threw me off. It also means if you were to grab that uber ego... The SLB MEGA V3... Everything you have would work with it. It adds variable voltage, variable wattage. More battery, a screen, the ability to check ohms...

The same reason I bought my I taste vv3. It does like everything. Ego/510 thread is pretty much what everything is. The ego portion denotes the exterior collar threads. 510 the internal. Most mechanical mods don't have that collar, just the 510. So it reduces what you can run on them. Tho there are adapters.

I also like the itaste I have for something small enough to carry still. There are boxier designs with tons more battery. Like the I taste MVP. Something 10-15W is plenty punchy enough to start with. Variable voltage mods allow you to tailor the setting for a wider variety of ohm coils / devices. Variable wattage does it all for you. It checks the coil, and figures out what voltage to fire it at so it hits both atomizers the same. It's like setting up your base map inputting run data and pushing auto tune. Boom.

But I'll let those more experienced give more examples to help find what might be best for you. One that checks ohms IMO is worth it. When the battery wears out. It's still an ohm checker... Same with pass thru. When the battery wears out... It still works when it's plugged in. If it still serves me some way, I lost less $ when it no longer fulfills its primary task.

Yeah I just use 18650 or 18350 batteries no kick .. I find it hits much harder that way.
Those are great pics bro..wished I had a better camera as I just wrapped a coil build 12 wraps each w/32ga @ .90ohms and the things kick like a beast...Wrapped those on a sewing needle... I didn't run the cotton through just overlapped it.
I have an idea to wrap some 32ga on a machine screw around M4..Up next? The Siri Machine Screw Coil Build! :vapor:
