If you only smoked between 6 and 10 cigarettes per day, an atomizer SHOULD last you for months.

My last atomizer lasted me over 7 months, and I'm sure it would have lasted much longer than that had I not broken it.
Even if you don't bother to clean them, you should still get a good couple of months use out of them.

In spite of what I just said, though, make sure you always have at least one spare atomizer, if not two.
You still never know when an atomizer is going to go, or how long it is going to last.

Just a question, when refilling carts, is it ok to fill them all at once, or will they dry out? Like fill a few at a time rather than right before I vape them.

I would suggest only filling 1 at a time, especially until you find a flavor that you like....put a different flavor in each one for starters....you will be able to tell when it's time to refill, you'll notice less vapor and a kinda nasty burnt taste...just pop the cart off of the atty, take some tweezers and pull the stuffing right out...fill the cart about halfway, maybe 7-8 drops, reinsert the filler foam, and put a couple drops on top and let it soak a bit...you want it to look moist, but not have a pool on top...if you get any liquid on your hands, rinse them off good, don't lick, seriously...the foam filler should end up about flush with the end of the cart, don't pack it down too tight...slide it back on the atty, and vape away...pretty easy....some peeps mod their carts with different foam, or teabags, but you can progress to that later...for now, keep it simple, and enjoy...

Hello everyone. New to this forum. I have been vaping for over two years now. I always use refill liquid, it is much more cost effective. And there are so many different flavors out there now it is astounding. However, refilling cartomizers can be a little tricky for beginners. I would not recommend new buyers to buy refill liquid with their first order, improper refilling can lead to dead batteries (an expensive mistake). Hope this helps!

I ended up getting the Riva-501. It is a 3 piece system but once I start getting the hang of it ill be able to decide if I wanna go with the two piece setup.

That's a good kit and you don't need another one to go two piece. You only need to go back on Liberty Flight and order some Boge 510 cartomizers (cartos). Fill them with your choice of fluid and go! A lot of people don't much care for the atomizer/cart combination and go with cartos. There are gobs of things you can hook to those batteries.

Welcome Jeff! I'm glad you didn't smoke cigarretes until you were 55 like me (a lot less damage). 510 510 510!!!
Get a Riva or Ego set up. you can just put in in your search engine and find a million vendors. Use USA vendors if you can (others take too long, can get caught up in customs, hard to refund if somethings broke). Read as many reviews and information threads on this (ECF) site. Good luck!

You found me!!! Stalker :p jp
We converted Grommish, too! He and I have been taking via text and phone. We've crashed at each others' houses and I've worked on his cars before, so we're friends IRL, as well as the car forum. I keep trying to steer him to ECF, but he's scurred to do homework. Guess I'll try to hold his hand some more lol.
