Welcome!!

It may not be an easy transition from smoking to vaping. Everyone is different, and have different approaches. The vast majority of people who try to quit smoking with vaping ARE SUCCESSFUL.

Myself, I was a 30 year plus smoker. I had tried all of the traditional methods to stop smoking: Patches, gum, lozenges, hypnosis, prescription drugs. All failed.

I had tried a disposable "cigalike" from the convenience store. Wasn't great, but I knew this had potential for success. I did my research and got an ECF recommended starter kit from a reputable vendor.

A Good Starter's Setup for a Beginner Vaper

I knew I'd probably still get uncomfortable cravings for a smoke when I started vaping, so I allowed myself a few cigs a day. I vaped on my e-cig at will. When I got a cig craving, I vaped more. If that didn't relieve the craving, I allowed myself half of a cigarette, and saved the second half for the next bad craving.

Those second half smokes tasted bad, but that actually helped me to quit. By the end of the week, I began to prefer the e-cig and not really want the cigarette. When my last pack was empty, I didn't really want to buy another.

Good luck. YOU CAN DO THIS!!

So I joined yesterday, everything going great, on vavoping, yesterday did pretty good, just had 2 smokes, in morning:) one this morning, mornings my worst.

Mornings were always the worst for me. What I did, and still do, is have a "morning vape". I have one flavor I like and use it every morning. After a while I switch to another flavor but I do not ever go back to my "morning vape." It's a blueberry muffin creme flavor. I conditioned my mind to expect the nice morning flavor and I have the same drive to vape this now as I did that first cig of the morning.

You're going to be successful, 1 because you want to quit, and 2 you now know vape will work. I struggled dual use for 12 days before I hit my stride. It's different for everyone but you WILL find your way. The funny part is you're going to look back at the day you reach this goal and chuckle because it really became that easy. I was absolutely euphoric (or in shock) for the first 10 days after my last cig.

The 12 days I dual used... I counted the cigs I didn't smoke, not the ones I did. You'll be fine.
