Your eGo will fare far better with some Boge 2.0 cartos. The standard atomizers that come with it are mediocre at best.

You might also look at the Smoketech DCT dual coil tank. You will get better flavor, vapor, and satisfaction with even the 3.5ml tank. It will produce a flavorful 7.7 watt vape even at 3.4v from the eGo battery. At $12.99 you owe it to yourself to try one.

Err how's he gonna get a 7.7 watt vape from a 3.4 volt device and a 3 ohm cartomizer?

No need to buy any more kits. You have plenty of options to go with your ego battery.

I didn't like the ego-t tanks either. I use the dual coil tank (DCT) + cartos with my ego batteries. Personally, I prefer the 1.7 single coil cartos in the tank (rather than the dual coil cartos that come with it). Pre-punched cartos can be bought from many vendors - Crystal Clear Vaping, Hoosier, etc..

I prefer cartos much more than atties (I like low maintenence), and would recommend giving some a shot. I think I'd recommend just picking up a couple of the Boge LR (2.0 ohm) or the Smoktech single coil (1.7 ohm) before investing in a tank just to see if you'll like cartos.

If you like them, then try out one of the small (3.5ml) tanks - they work great for me, and make cartos even more low maintenence.

If you're interested, I can give links to specific things that I mentioned.

I don't know how that watt/volt/ohm math works, but the DCs that come with those tanks are two 3ohm coils, and equal a total of 1.5ohm.

You are asking the battery to supply 7.7 watts, but each coil is only using 3.85 watts. Very cold vape in my opinion.

However, 7.7 watts to both coils would probably make smoke come out your ears. Most people run less wattage/coil with a DCC than they do a single coil carto.

I've used the dual coils, and they didn't seem especially cool to me... at least compared to other things that I've tried (like ego-t tanks). I imagine compared to a LR carto on a battery capable of higher power it would seem cool though. I wouldn't know, since I haven't tried anything beyond smaller 510/ego type batteries.

I agree. Those are the same as the CCV resurrectors or from Hoosier (I don't think they give them a fancy name, they just call them 1.7 single coils).

nyer - these different cartos are cheap enough, so might as well try a bunch of different ones. My experience with the Vision ones was pretty much the same as with ego-t tanks though. But, they might be better for you.
