Hello new friends!

I've just joined today and wondering if anyone can help me regarding a portable charging case. I currently use 10Motives as they have a handy PCC and their cartridges are easily found in shops. However, I went to purchase a new PCC on their website to find out that they no longer stock them! I need a PCC as I am not always near charging points.

Does anyone know of another PCC that is compatible with 10Motives or could advise of another brand that has a PCC where the batteries are compatible with 10Motives cartridges. I used Blucig previously but could never quite give up the cigarettes until I tried 10Motives so I am keen to stay with them for that reason.

Any help is much appreciated.

if you have the usb stick that you screw on the battery. wouldnt you just need a portable battery bank that has usb plug? been a long time since ive used one of those but i remember just plugging it into a laptop usb lol. hopefully someone with more knowledge will drop by.

Welcome to ecf. Glad you found us. I am not in the UK and really are not familiar with this product. However, we do have several european members who frequent this particular thread and will be sure to help if they can. It is 4:30 ish in the am here and most sensible people are sleeping. LOL

I can tell you that the cig-a-likes are good for introducing one to vaping but most move on to more powerful products in order to maintain their progress of staying off of cigarettes. It all depends on what your needs are and what it takes to accomplish that. Again, I am at a disadvantage being in the US because I am not familiar with your country's vaping places and laws.

Things here in this thread will pick up as more come in during the am hours.
    :)

That is a good idea. I use one for my cell phone but didn't even think of it in this situation.

I've never thought of that before either! It's definitely an option if I can find an alternative PCC. I would prefer a PCC as it's compact and fits in my pocket but the portable battery is a great idea!

    The question is...

What thread does/do 10 motives use for their cig-a-likes? According to the internet, they are 510.
    (I doubt it*)
    Most PCCs were 808 (KR808).

*Most of the really nasty companies use proprietary threading*... all part of the great masterplan to make sickening amounts of money from people using cartomizers.

Maybe you should phone 10 Motives and ask them to help you. They will know the thread size and if you are a genuine "I always buy from you" sort of customer, it's in their interests to help you with the technical specification.

...personally, I'd just throw it all away and start again

In 2013, when I worked out how this system works (basically, it's a massive rip-off), I bought a NON-branded e-cigarette kit and started filling up the cartomizers with e-liquid.

For me, in 2013, the difference was £2,000 a year vs about £500.
These days, it's less bad admittedly, but it's still incredibly bad value compared a little refillable 'clearomizer' e-cig.

An Eleaf iCare (or similar) is better, cheaper and you're not paying for these companies disgraceful profits.

Thanks very much for all the help guys and gals! I honestly never thought I'd get so many replies, ideas and help. It's really appreciated :)
    No problem.

We hate to see people stuck in a rut with oooh nasty brands. You've got away lucky in comparison to some on the market.

Hi @WhiteNoise and welcome to ECF. I started on Volts. They have a very nice PCC but not sure if it fits your setup. You can email them and ask? Contact Us

Also, there is a NEW cigalike class (called Pod Mods) that even many veterans are finding VERY appealing for out and about. Exquisite looking, powerful, and they use very high nicotine salts which are apparently VERY effective. I know Juul is one of them, and here is the thread where they discuss the many other options. Might be time for an upgrade.. ;) Pod Mods: Which One Are You Liking the Most?

Good luck, and hope to see you around!

Welcome @WhiteNoise and I hope you enjoy your stay. I have 2 solutions for charging on the go with USB one is a USB adapter with multiple ports and the second is a Universal battery pack. If needed my Nitecore I4 has a car adapter but I probably will never use it unless there is an extended power outage like when Hurricane Sandy hit us.
