There are all kinds of preferences among vapers here on ECF. The vast majority think they want the ciggie sized ecig at first, buy one, and then get hacked at being tied to a charger. IF you can use a carto on your small battery, then you can at least circumvent the constant refilling requirements of small cartridges. Low resistance cartos and attys is pretty much out on the small batteries due to the current drain of LR devices.
E-Liquid and Electronic Cigarette Shop - Category Listings is a UK company that has a California store in the United States. Everyone raves about their service, prices, and low shipping rates. Customer service is what it should be ... fair and responsive. If you have a problem, they will fix it.
The KR808 recommendation is a good one, especially if you have to have something cigarette sized, but if you are like most people, you'll wish you had gone the high capacity battery route at first and bought a 650mah or higher battery first. It will still fit in your pocket and people won't think you are smoking a cigarette in a non-smoking area. It pays to have something that obviously isn't a cigarette. People will ask you what it is, but they won't think it's a cigarette and tell you to go somewhere else.
The forum is full of posts about advice on first ecigs. You can search and read and see what others say about their hardware history.
