Newbie question about replacement atomizer

I have stopped analogs for over a week now. (8 days and 5 hours
A true record for this 30 year smoker and up to 2 packs a day.
I started off by buying a torpedo in the mall that cost a bit higher than should have, to say the least. An impulse buy. Wish I had done my homework first. Learning a lot reading the forum following that purchase. I ordered Echo from smoktek and looking forward to the delivery.

The Torpedo from the mall will be a back up. The only problem I have is finding the right atomizer.
Does anyone know how I go about locating this info. The company has a website but does not give model numbers. I will not spend the money they charge for one.
You all are so helpful on the forum. Definitely helping with my success giving up cigarettes. Found excellent vendors as well.

My problem is I don't know what the model I have purchased is. All I know is it is called Torpedo. They don't provide numbers with them. I cannot figure out what is compatible with my ecig. It's possible that I'll have to try a couple and it will be hit or miss. Hopefully, I'll like the echo so much it won't matter in a day or 2.

Gracie, it can be very confusing at first but don't get discouraged there are only a handfull of models. (Lots of names for the same model) Check this link out it may be helpfull in your search, it took me awhile to figure out what knock off brand I originally bought, but I now have adaptors for it. (Mad Vapes).

GP sells lots of adapters so if you find the atty you want they'll be sure and get you the adapter that will make it fit.

Welcome to the ecf!

I'm not personally familiar with the echo, but I think its an ego clone? If so, try the atty's that you get with it, and if they work with your torpedo then the torpedo is a 510 thread, and you'll have lots of options available to you.

Now charging the new Echo. This one I will def need a different tip. So shopping time ... again LOL

I bought my first one at a tobacco shop it said it was a maxx vapor pro,
and turns out its really a riva with 510 threads.
So I can buy any atomizer or cartomizer with 510 threads.
Hope that helps.

I believe that the echo has a 901 thread pattern. "901" being the style and size of the threads.

Thanks so much for the help. It is a 510, so that order for atomizer worked out.

I did also get the Echo. It's pretty good but I'm not loving it. Waiting for order with 901 atomizer for Echo. Maybe I'll like this better than the current cartomizer that came with it. I may look at the duel coil cartomizer but I don't know what difference that will make. I have to read more on forum about that.

I'm saving for a Provari. Reading about it on the forum and it sounds great!
