¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Soluble in both. Some say that VG can sour so that's one reason I decided to by my long-term stash of nic base in 100% PG rather than VG or a mix. VG has a sweetness to it. PG does not have any sweetness to me but some folks say it does have some sweetness to it.

And also in general, PG "carries" the flavor a bit better than VG, but has less cloud.

Far less, 100% PG has virtually no cloud if you inhale into your lungs. Small cloud if you mouth vape like a cigar and exhale immediately.

Throat hit: For me even a tiny trace of VG will kill all throat hit. Others here would probably gag on my nic % at 100% VG but if I fill from the wrong bottle no throat hit for a day even if I dump and re-fill. I'm an extreme example, but PG / VG ratio effects this for most people.

VG is what makes clouds and add sweetness you can vape 100% VG. Most work in a 60-100% VG window. PG is a thinner, carries flavor and higher the PG percentage more throat hit. Very few vapers and can go over 50% PG without irritating their throat, but the higher PG percentage the less flavor you will need. If you have a tank setup and are having feeding problems you may need to adjust you pg percentage to thicken or thin you eliquid. In a nut shell, 70VG/30PG is a good jumping off point, but if more clouds wanted go more VG, more throat hit and a bump in flavor a higher PG percentage should do the trick.

I like throat hit and will usually mix 65/35vg (60/40 for desserts and sweeter flavors).

I use a 65/35 most of the time, mostly cause I'm a flavor junkie. When pollen levels are high I have to use less PG because of nature.
