1. Nobody really knows. The question is the ingredients in the flavorings and how safe it is to be inhaling them after theyre heated. But, they dont contain all the nasties that are in cigs.

2. I had constant cough due to smoking and couldnt bend over without going into a coughing fit. After switching to ecigs it went away. (note: I still smoke 3-4 cigarettes a day)

3. Yes - having to constantly explain what it is that I'm "smoking". Sometimes that's fine and glad to explain, other times though I want to be left alone to enjoy my vape.

4. 3 weeks

Hi! And welcome to the forum...

1- no one really knows the answer to that we all just guinea pigs ha-ha! But most people go along the lines of they got to be better than normal (analogue) cigs? no tar, carbon monoxide etc.

2- some people have issues with the glycerine, I had bad chest for week or two plus you get other symptoms when you go completely to e-cigs to many to mention , but if you do a search will see most common and these mostly fade away after a few weeks.

3- they can be costly and unreliable and very addictive in trying new stuff etc

4- 3 months+

1. As all have said, we don't know for sure, but it HAS to be better than real cigs
2. I haven't had any chest problems
3. Yes, I am currently using the strongest nicotine juice and vaped HEAVILY when I first got my Bada-Bing e-cigar and had a nic overdose (bad headache, shakes, etc., but it went away the next day and I cut back to avoid having it happen again)
4. E-cigs since December 2008, e-cigar (Bada-Bing) since the 7th of this month

1. None of the ingredients are know to be bad for you or are known carcinogens, and since they are being vaporized instead of burned, there's no chemical reactions and the substances enter your body in the same form that they would if they were ingested. And obviously there is no tar or carbon monoxide or cyanide or other poisons that are in analogs. My Doctor agreed that they were definitely much healthier then analogs, but he said he couldn't say that "on the record" until it was tested by the FDA. Basically from my understanding the only reason we can't say that it's healthier is because there are no tests to prove it, but with some basic logic you can easily deduce that it's better for you.

2. No, my chest is really clearing up having been analog free for over 4 weeks, no more coughing up phlegm either.

3. The only negative effects that I've experienced have been financial.

4. Four weeks and one day.
