Hi guys,

I'd like to say Hi and introduce myself a bit: I'm living in Germany and I started vaporing about 50 days ago. I completely quit smoking and I'm very happy about that! :) I bought a few devices in the mean-time and they are all quite nice. My favorite currently is the Janty NEO, even though I've had a bit of trouble already with broken batteries.

Now my mother (64) told my aunt (60, living in Florida, smoking for a long time) about her e-cigarettes (yeah, I managed to convince both of my parents to switch to vaporing :D), and now she's getting curious. She said she tried a e-cig a few years ago, but it sucked back then. Probably one of those very early models.

I would like her to try a Joyetech 510-T with automatic batteries (preferably 1 of those with 340mAh) and some e-juice with 50/50 PG/VG (at least not Dekang) - but I'm running into trouble  finding a good & reliable shop where she could order online, that offers automatic batteries, the desired liquid and empty tanks (I think pre-filled is a bad idea).

Could anyone help me out?

Thank you very much!

Marc

Check the suppliers forums here.. there's lots of good reliable vendors here. What makes you want an auto batt? I, personally, prefer the manual batts, feel like I have more control over the hit. I bought my kGo from Virgin Vapors and am extrememly happy with it. It's bigger than those slim style ecigs, but it's fabulous! One toot from this thing, and you'd never go back to an analog.. just my 2cents!

Thank you for your replies!

I'm happy too, that she's willing to try again :) I found the suppliers sub-forum, but I have to admit that I got lazy after unsuccessfully checking the first 6 suppliers (which had the most threads) - so I thought I'll ask you guys. On the bright side, my uncle already found a shop and ordered there. No 340mAh, but ok - he took 3x 220mAh instead ;)

@luvinit: Well, switching to a e-cig is already a lot of change. It seems like many people (especially if older) have an easier time doing so if they don't have to "search for the button every time" (quote). Sooner or later she will hopefully switch a stronger device - even though the tiny 510-T produces an amazing amount of vapor and throat hit already.

Are you looking for a shop that ships to Germany, or to your Grandmother in Florida?

For someone new to vaping, you can't beat Cignot.com
They have all the genuine Joytech 510 starter kits, as well as the eGo/riva Kits.
Vicki is very helpful, especially with newbies.
You can get your juice and empty cartomizers there as well.
You probably don't want to make Grandma deal with atomizers and cartridges.
The whole shop is set up to be Newbie Friendly.

@Sailorman: I was looking for a shop in the US, so my aunt (61) could order a 510-T there. But her husband was faster and found a shop already :) Thanks for the suggestion, though (and any further that may come) - I'll bookmark everything. There is always something more to order or to test, when it's about vaping, it seems ;-)

@FaniFox: Yeah, I did check Janty USA webstore but they seemed to be out of automatic batteries. If my aunt really likes vaping and found flavors that she likes, I think a Janty NEO with automatic battery could be the next step for her.

Thank you, guys!

I was about to say "don't get me started", but since you asked ;-)

Nothing definite yet. Some Dr. med. from a local ministry decided on her own that liquids with nicotin have to be considered a drug to be sold only in drug-stores (of course, after years of analysis), even though she has no authority to decide/declare something like that, and even though that's totally contrary to what european court of law has said in the past. This also caused a few cases of impoundment of liquids imported from China and three reported house searches of shops.

In my opinion the state (afraid of loss in taxes) and the tobacco industry (for the obvious reasons) are causing FUD on purpose. Unfortunately, the main-stream media is quite biased towards them.

Anyways, many, many shops (and there are a lot!) are continuing business as usual, thankfully. I am quite optimistic that vaping will prevail - like in many other countries around the world! :)

How's it going in greece?

Hi -

I hope your aunt ended up getting the Ego-T. That's what I use, and I couldn't be happier. I got it with 1000 mah batteries, from esmokeronline. Those guys are great, and you can actually talk to a real person. Ask for Tim.

Ditto on not getting an automatic battery. I like the simplicity and reliability of the manual, plus being able to precisely control the "burn". Not even sure of you can get an Ego-T in automatic, but maybe so. Again, even if you can, I wouldn't.
