Hey guys, help! I'm a newbie of about 90 days! I just graduated to a mech mod , the kecig k100 and an aspire nautalis (next Atlantis) and curious of what battery to buy and where to start? Right now I have a purple efest imr 18650 3.7v li-mn 2500mAh 35A and curious if that's good enough for me? I would like to produce more vapor, but don't want it to get dangerous. What's the best route to go? Thanks!

1: Mech mods are not for new vapers. (A mech isn't exactly a step up either.)
2: What have you been using for the last 90 days?

Alright so how does one calculate the max continuous discharge rate (in amps) of a battery?

If there is no amp rating printed on the battery then it's probably not a high amp drain battery.

As usual salesmanship is biased to advertise optimistic figures.

Furthermore, as you use your battery and recharge, the battery capabilities will deminish.

Therefore it makes sense to take the amp rating printed of the battery and divide that by two, and use that figure in your estimates/calculations.
