Try to refill whatever you are getting for carts with some nice eliquid with at least 30% VG - it may help. Nicotine is a skin irritant. PG does not buffer its irritation. VG smooths the irritation and TH and can dull the flavor a bit. Any vendor that uses stock carts prefilled in China is probably selling 100% PG carts. Especially if you see flavor names like "tobacco", "DK-Tab", "USA Mix". 70pg/30vg is a nice balance.

Don't know how I missed this before, but I was looking to see if anyone was having this same problem as I find myself with -- bleeding gums. The 'pink toothbrush' variety, but alarming just the same. Been going on for about a month, and this is my 3rd month of vaping. I'm relieved to see most of you believe (or know) this is probably one of those side affects from quitting smoking rather than from starting vaping. And thanks Snow, I'll try to increase how often I brush and see if that helps. I have a dentist appt. later this month just for a cleaning, but I'll see what he says too. And here I was going to be all excited and proud to show him my non-smokers teeth for a change!

I have had a pink toothbrush every day for the last couple of years. Very healthy teeth otherwise. I believe it's a little bit of gingivitis. It's been 2 weeks since I really smoked cigarettes, not counting 2 or 3 I puffed on and put out. My toothbrush is now bright red after brushing and I can taste the blood for a few minutes after I brush.

I don't know if it's the ecig, or the nicotine lozenges I was using the first week, or just a strange side effect from quitting.
I read somewhere that once nicotine from a real cig is no longer constricting your blood vessels, bleeding may increase or gum disease that wasn't seen before may come to light. But if that's true, and we're still getting nicotine from the vapor....why would that happen to an ecig user who has quit? Cold turkey quitting might make sense. I do realize that there are many chemicals in cigs..but with nicotine causing constriction..and nicotine being in eliquid..I don't see why we should be experiencing it.

The liquid that came with my starter kit is 100% PG as far as I know. Maybe that has something to do with it, was planning to order 70/30 for my first eliquid order anyway. Will see how things are in a few weeks. Just wanted to put in my 2 cents and mention that I am experiencing this as well.
