There is no voltage that you NEED to have to vape at. Basically start at the low end and work your way up until you settle on the range that delivers the best TH, warmth and flavor for you. Everyone likes a different setting and thats the beauty of having a VV device. I ended up like my fruit flavors in the lower spectrum and my tobacco flavors in the high 4s, but everyone will be different.

Here's an ohms to voltage chart:

Generally speaking:
3.3- 4.0 volts= 1.8 ohms
4- 4.8 volts= 2.4 ohms
You'll find diff juices taste better at diff voltages. Start off at a low voltage and dial up until you find your "sweet spot"
Best of Luck and congrats

is the vaping chart any good?
The various Safe Vaping Power Charts can be a good guideline for new vapors to choose what resistance to use at their voltage/watts range. I have heard that it is only useful for single coil delivery devices.

Someone who made one of these charts also wrote an article on how to find your "sweet spot" for various flavors of e-liquids using resistance and different voltages: Guide to Safe Vaping - E-Cigarette Safety | Ecig Advanced Community Blog
