Thanks for responding. I was only looking at as a start because I can 2 for the price of 1. I couldn't afford to get us both one for double the price. I was thinking it would be easier to quit if we both tried at the same time.

I understand where you are coming from price wise BUT really you only need one kit of something because you will get 2 batteries PLUS the charger, then you really only need to purchase 2 more batteries to own "2 kits".

I would recommend going with one 510 Ego type Kit because once you own an Ego charger you can charge any of the countless Ego/510 style batteries with it and you will be able to attach any of the also countless 510 type devices to them.

I think it will be easier for you both to quit at the same time but I also think if you start off with 808 stuff you will eventually drift into 510 style stuff too.

May I ask how much loot you actually want to end up spending to get this project off the ground? I bet we can get you off the cigarettes and into vaping for a pretty reasonable amount of money AND make sure you start with stuff you will continue to use in the future.

So far I'm getting the Leo Royal Combo kit with 2 completer e cigs 1 with a xl cartomizer $42.00. I am choosing to go with the tank model. I plan to order another tank $8.50 and another xl cartomizer $2.60. The e-liquids are $4.95 each and I planned to get 4. I did also look at the 510 dual coil tank cartomizers but I will order those next pay check.

Also you can only charge one batt at a time. If you are both smoking someone has to wait. Once you get involved in vaping you will always hear people saying get back-ups for your back-ups, some products are duds and things break and suppliers run out of stock. That is another reason I like 510 better. I am not tied to one supplier for all my items. Unless you have a vapeshop nearby it will be waiting for an online order.

Hi, slideswife! Welcome to the forum and whatever you do... please don't get discouraged! :vapor:

I started off with 808's and then switched to Ego's and Kgo's for want of better battery life. I'm finally at my happy place now, but it took a few months time. Toughest was finding the e-liquid flavors that would make me happy. There are so many out there, and so many get good reviews but tasted awful (to me). So I also agree, please try to always buy the bitty "sampler" bottles at first until you know if you like them. Otherwise you could spend a bundle

That's a pretty good deal but I think in the long run you will be happier with a 510 style battery. You could also get a 510 1100 mah kit here for 40 bucks- Ego 510 1100Mah Black Super Excalibur Kit [Super exc Blk 1100 kit] - $40.00 : Vapors Choice, Ecigarettes & Parts

Or you could get a standard 510 Kgo kit from here for 43.99- KGO kit1100mAh by SLB

I have personally dealt with Hoosiers and they have sold 1000's of those Kgo kits to a whole lot of satisfied vapors in this forum.

Both those kits would allow you to use 510 stuff and give you better longer lasting batteries. Then in the future you could simply purchase more batteries to allow both you and your husband to own 2 batteries each.

No problem.

Take your time looking through the equipment just be sure you don't buy from one of the "rip off" sites. You can find out which suppliers are selling GOOD STUFF at reasonable prices by asking here. This is a VERY HUGE forum full of very helpful people, many who started off with over priced bad equipment because we didn't ask here before we bought our first starter stuff.

We want you and your husband to succeed! :thumb:

My best advice to you is to simply buy something decent ASAP and get started. The quicker you start vaping the quicker you will stop blowing your money on cigarettes. I don't know how much you and your husband spend on cigarettes but it adds up FAST and you are much better off spending that money on vaping supplies because once you settle in the cost of the E Liquid is very reasonable.
