Hi, Im Jan from Spokane, WA. I haven't even started yet. Just ordered an NPRO at a friends suggestion. Very excited to try this and learn more. Ive smoked for 30 years and really would like an alternative.....plus the Hubby & the dogs are sick of all the smoke in the house.....lol.

I am sure I will have lots of questions for everyone soon.

:)

I'm 66 on the 12th. 49 years of 1.5 packs a day. Last 10 years of rolling my own for 90 cents a day. Today is day two with a ecig.
looking to give up analogs for good. Read the forum daily.
Best to all, Nick in Denver

That is quite an accomplishment!

When I ordered my first e-cig, I never thought I would totally give up analogs, as I was merely hoping to just cut back. Now, for the most part I have been analog free for one month! :D

HI. So glad to find this site. I am new to e-cigs. Bought njoy @ truckstop when price of a carton hit $60 figured it was worth a shot. Went thru the box of carts in about a week and went from 2 packs of cigs a day to 5 cigs a week without the cravings from previous trys to quit. Price of a box of 5 carts in truckstops is $20 and very limited choices reg., lite, menthol. Did a google and found this place and checked out a few of the suppliers. Lots of choices and information. Thanks for helping out us newbies.

Hi,
I'm new to the forum, have been reading it since Thursday. Ordered two kits - one from puresmoker, should arrive Mon, Tues. Can hardly wait to be smoke free. All of your posts have been very useful, and encouraging. I think, if you guys can do it, I can too. Reading the posts has filled me with hope. I can't wait to start breathing better. I think I will keep my same habits, only vaping on the front porch, not take it indoors (just because I can.) Part of the problem with gum, patch, etc, is the act of smoking was missing. It's like losing a dear (if deadly) friend. I believe vaping will be the answer that will help me quit analogs once and for all. With the forum, I know I will have great support. So, ... just thanks. That's all.

Hey D, if you are a heavy smoker I would recommend a classic pen style Dse 801.
If you are a light smoker I would go with the Dse901, its a little smaller but lasts about half as long between cartridge refills. e-smokeytreats.com has them both or look around for one a little cheaper. If you have any questions PM me........a

Hi Vapers! I have not started yet but found this wonderful Foum so I can navigate the pitfalls of the transition. I am very anxious to switch.
I have read the poll of the most popular and seen the list of online sellers but still not sure what I need to get started. I think the 910 or whatever sounds best. Any advice appreciated. I will keep on reading. Already signed the petition.

Peace!

Cindy

Hi all, new member, looking to get my first e-cig, but still browsing around making sure I make a good decision.

Been looking at the Black Super Mini (10cm) from the Electronic Cigarette Company, but still want to shop around a bit and make sure I get what's right for me.

I definitely like the fact that the super mini's are close to real cig size, but does this affect performance in terms of the size/quality of the hit, or vapour production?

I definitely love the look of black with blue LED, and I don't care how vain that makes me sound, lol. What would people recommend for a starter to e-cigs? I'm a pretty light smoker these days, maybe 2 or 3 a day on average, but binged together around weekends and nights out, but used to be on 20+ a day a couple of years back.

Any advice would be much appreciated, cheers.

Hi All,

I guess I need to post some stuff here before I'm allowed to make real posts...

Anyway, here's something about me:

I'm new to this 'personal vaporizer' thing and recently bought a PeeWee from one of those Smoking Everywhere kiosks. I bought it for $99 too and the kit only came with one battery, one atomizer, 1 USB charger, and 10 cartridges. I know, I was ripped off but I'm grateful in a way as I have just been introduced in this wonderful new product. I'm currently enjoying a DSC-901 from Totally Wicked with Cola juice and I've order spares and other kits just to have. I've spent about $400 so far an this kind of stuff so far.

I been a smoker for over 20 years and apart from the occasional real cigarette or two I've smoked since I started e-smoking due to dead batteries, lost juice, etc... I've been relatively smoke free for about a week now. The longest before this was the length of an international flight. My wife and kids are proud of me as well.

Hi everyone! I’m a newbie to this forum and I’m searching for an answer for a DSE901 batteries that I’m having problems with.

Some of my DSE901 batteries are not working right, (I have 3 that are doing this & they are brand new!).

They keep turning themselves on and then start flashing or blinking even when they are not in use or even attached to the atomizer. I don’t drip smoke & I have never been able to vape with them at all, even after a full charge.

I charged each of them for the 8-12 hours when they arrived & I have two back up batteries that work just fine, but the ones I have doing this have never been able to be used to vape at all & the atomizer is cold when trying to vape using one of these batteries. It’s almost like the batteries are stuck in the on position & not shutting down.

I’ve tried banging it in the palm of my hand, on a table, getting it sticky, puffing & puffing, still nothing? I cannot return them, because it’s pass the two week warranty for sending them back (I didn't need them right way!), but my other batteries work fine is there anything I can do to fix this or are they defective, do I need to toss them and chuck it up to a loss? HELP!

Why am I having this problem, can anyone help me?

I really like the DSE901 models, but I’m leery of buying any more of their batteries until I can figure out what is triggering them to do this.

Also I’m looking to find the DSE901 models at wholesale prices, because I have several friend wanting to buy them. I’m also looking to buy or make my own USB passthrough for my DSE901, because I spend many hours working at my PC.

Any help would be appreciated.
