Hello to all. Thought I would make an intro post and say hello. I received my Yetti, joy501, yesterday. I hope I made a good choice so I can break free from cigarettes. I am a 30 yr 3 pack per day smoker. It is urgent important that I stop smoking. I won't bore you with the details of my health problems. I hope that Washington will not step in and make me an outlaw.

Hello Everyone,
I'm Randy and I've made up my mind to quit smoking after 33 years of 1 pack a day use. I've been researching these e-cigs and I guess my only problem is which one to purchase. I live about 5 miles from a Pilot Truck Stop that has the njoy brand in stock. Is this one as good as the rest? Any feedback would be appreciated.

A friend has the DSE 901 and I thought it was great. Now after researching things I see there are so many different kinds of ecigs I’m not sure which to buy. I know there is a 4 hole atomizer as to a 2 hole which is preferable because of the vapor. And I would prefer a red LED over say blue or green. I am confused about one being manual or automatic as far as batteries and changing them or charging them goes. Stand alone or battery box? I for sure would like a USB set up and something I can use in the car along with using in public. The more convenient the use the better. I would like to buy a set-up for a years worth of smoking also. I am looking at the Manual Switch Penstyle 801 set. So any and all advice would be greatly appreciated to help get me started on the road to being cigarette free.

Hello, My name is Raven. I recently and I do mean JUST recently found out about these spiffy little things. I was at my club which as of the beginning of the year my state has outlawed smoking anywhere and everywhere.
A friend of mine was selling the 901 (black spiffy looking), and it was allowed in the club.
Keep in mind I live in Utah. The land of the mormons. So yeah. I REALLY like this idea hehe.
Sunday I ordered the 901 kit and ordered some liquid smoke.
As soon as it is here my cigarettes will be going to my fiance. I will be giving up burning the ash.
One of the things that I really like the idea of is that I will be able to play bass and not have to worry about ashing everywhere haha!

So! Thank you for letting me introduce myself ;)

Nice forum. I'm a pitiful not-even-newbit yet -- just ordered two 901s from Smokey Treats (tried Totally Wicked but its site didn't like my credit card for some reason). Got one for me, and one for my fella, who knows nothing about this yet.

He's quit smoking several times and stress drives him back. He takes a Nicotrol inhaler to work, but I'm hoping he'll like this better... a little worried, because he's somebody who loves the smell of smoke and everything connected with smoking, and really feels a need to smoke.

I think I could quit entirely... if not for the habit factor. I can read a book or play a videogame with 2 hands for hours and not even think about a cigarette. I might smoke 1 or 2 cigarettes at work, just as an excuse to walk away from what I'm doing. Yet I'll chain-smoke in front of my home computer, and seem incapable of not smoking in my car! Our condo and our cars smell smoky. If he lights up next to me, I usually do because for some reason it's easier to tolerate sidestream smoke when I'm smoking.

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to this for me, hoping he'll get into it, and plan on hitting the boards with lots of stupid questions in a few days. There's already much I don't quite get (there's a thread here on nicotine equivalency that blew my mind), but the important questions will wait until we're actually mucking around with the 901s. But just contemplating a life without dirty ashtrays and accidental eye-hits and not having to worry about accidentally burning something... I'm pumped.

@ koonak,

I just ordered from eastmall for the first time based on the good reviews here. It was a small order and cleared customs within 24 hours. He processed the order almost immediately and it shipped the next day. All in all it took 6 days for my order to arrive (which was yesterday). I have no complaints :)

I'm really new to this have to say so far it really sucks for me.I purchased the smoke anywhere e ciggarette and got it yesturday. There is hardly any smoke! It dosen't feel like smoking and today the damn cartridge got stuck on it and all I could think to do was cut it off and ended up cutting myself.I'm so ready to go buy a pack of Ciggarettes and puff away but I'm tired of smoking that crap. Can anyone tell me is there a way to do this that dosen't involve aggrevation and pain because when I'm trying to quit that is the last thing that helps!

I love hearing other people's success stories, so here's mine...

I've smoked around a pack a day for 20 years and have tried almost all of the stop smoking aids on the market with no success. I decided to try an electronic cigarette a couple of weeks ago and ended up buying an M401 from absolutelyecigs and an RN4081 from a local dealer because I got worried about the shipment from China getting stopped.

The end result is that for two days I smoked the RN4081 and a 5 or 6 analogs and on the third day found myself halfway through the day without even thinking about an analog. Amazing. I haven't had the desire to smoke an analog since, even though I still have packs lying around. I have attempted to quite before, but have never been able to resist the urge to smoke an analog when I had one. With the e-cig, I don't even have the urge.

I'm telling any smoker who will listen!

Sadly, you got one of the worst e-cigs. Don't let it put you off - there are many types which are much much better. I suggest that you read the reviews section on this site for suggestions and try one of them instead. When you get a good one it's a completely different experience, one that is actually superior to smoking regular cigarettes.

That's me (2005 GT in Sonic Blue - my baby :)). You can reply by hitting the "Quote" button below a post.

Anyway, good luck with the e-cig. Some juice and some patience will work wonders. Bear in mind that sometimes an e-cig will take a couple of days to break in and start producing decent amounts of vapour, so all's not lost with your current model. Take a look at some of the video reviews here to get an idea of what you can expect when it's working properly.

Hello to all, Im Wendy. I am BRAND NEW to E-Smoking, I ordered my first kit a few days ago, and the tracking number says it should arrive here some time tomorrow.. or today since Im up so late. I was overly excited about the concept of vaping till after reading so many threads and reviews on this site i realized i bought a expensive "cheap knock off" device. (Gamucci Micro) My husband despises the fact that I smoke due to obvious reasons. Smell, price, adverse health effects etc. And my smoking has caused way too many fights so the other night he was researching online, and came across the gamucci electronic cigarette. On an impulse, he purchased the Gamucci Micro kit for me, and Ive been obsessed with reading up on "vaping". I half expect for my device to suck, but after seeing that so many people "vape" I will try out another device that has better reviews. Im excited to try it out if it comes tomorrow, and hopefully say goodye to Cancer Sticks for good!

Hi All, I am a Nuttty Old Lady, that have been smoking for over 30 years, I tryed everything I could find to quit, and none worked for me, and since I am addicted to Nicotine, the patch and the gum was my way of getting my fix when I was somewhere I could not smoke, I used to enjoy smoking untill I had a small stroke, and know I need to quit but can't kick the Nicotine habit, I seen on a news program about the e-cig and thought WOW that would be what I have been looking for, I started looking on ebay and the different ones sold, then looked on the net and found a website that sold the BE112 Electronic Cigarette Starter Pack, I ordered it and got it on 4- 23 from the first hit I love it, and have not had a real cig since, well I can't really say that I did try a hit from a real cig and hacked a lung lol, never again, I found I m starting to breath better, and when I can detox all the crap bulit up in by body I will feel so much better
I have found so much great info from this forum, yes gulity I have been learking since I found it, but now I want to share, with others my new found joy of e-smoking, vaping as you all call it lol,

Yeah I will check that out I also watched some video of different techniqes for taking drags off of it that produce more vapor and tried it yesturday and that worked a little better.I guess a slow steady drag is better than a fast hard drag.Yeah my baby is in the shop getting a new front bumper rear bumper tail and head lights and painted so Friday can't get here soon enough so I can pick her up!
