You may be right. I've been waiting months for them to return to stock. I bought 4 during the initial run but 1 doesn't work. I'm waiting for a replacement. Ive now been told by Apollo that I can exchange it for something else or have a credit to my account. When I offered to wait for the restock they said ok (that was yesterday). When the problem with the mini occurred I was told the expected restock was in 2 weeks, which has now turned into months. I was fine with waiting because I have other mods. I didn't know it was a 1 time run, but this makes sense now. Guess I'll just have to get a credit for something else.

That'll suck if they never carry them again. I want a Vtube, but the whole plastic end thing is keeping my from buying one. I want the SS cuz the ends are metal.

I was short on cashola when they had em. DAMMIT

The chrome has metal end caps too, and is all metal, just not stainless.

the good thing is I already have ss, and I contacted apollo, and they said they could be back in stock within weeks, but not 100%

If they restock the SS a bunch of folks may be a tad ticked off. Since we were led to believe that we were purchasing a limited edition, "one of a kind" type of unit. I personally don't really care, since I don't plan on selling mine.

Agree.
But one more thing : my SS have SS cap. Yours don't? Hmm..

I would love to keep mine, but I can't figure out a way to get the cap back on. That's the only issue(the top cap came off).

Thank you menthall!
I'll post it here if you don't mind.
Maybe some one have solutions for it? Have you tried some kind of super glue?

No, I haven't tried glue. The end cap screws on just fine, and is flush. From the looks you wouldn't be able to tell that there is an issue.

The problem is, there is another metal part that fits between the end cap and the part shown in the photo. It's the piece that houses the threads. It is designed to be held in place by the small circle show here in the photo. There is an opening, like a little flap in-between the 2 layers of rubber. The smaller one stabilizes it and keeps the threading cylinder upright and firm, the the end cap is screwed on top to reinforce the design.

Sorry that my description is not the best. I feel like a car mechanic describing this! Ha Ha!!

I think i see the issue but may be wrong....

Take the rubber part off completely and carefully. You'll see the small flanged part at the top. You need to squeeze this through the bottom of the top cap. That is the part that insulates the center post from the connecter wall. Once that is set, slide the center post through the hole and thread the top cap down. You should be all set then.
