Ok so it could be my eyes playing tricks on me but i think my top cap may not be stainless either. Magnets seem to be slightly attracted to it also but not all that much. Is there any other way to tell for sure?

It will have a slight blue tint (if chrome), compared to a slight yellow tint (of the stainless) in the body. Several pages back there is a great picture showing the blue. I'd link it, but just got home and feeling lazy.

Notice the blue color. That is what you are looking for. It's hard to see it without a light shining on it.

Indeed we may have to give up on this copper idea/production unless customers can accept the fact that copper will turn green at certain point no matter how you coat it, or unless some experts like you can give good solutions on the coating :)

Come on people, copper ages nicely. Very cool indeed! Plus, think of it this way, everyone will have a unique vv mod. Shoot I'll will to bet the copper conducts the current better! Am I the only one that sees this?

I'm no blacksmith, but couldn't you just get the chrome and remove the chrome coating somehow?

Yeah, but why go through all that work if you didn't have to?

Besides, it would be, "OK do I want to deface this perfectly good chrome LT, or do I want to use it while I sit on the couch and drink a beer?"

The choice would be obvious for me.

Plus it would be a PITA to get the coating off from inside the button holes without disassembling it, and that takes it to a whole other level.

I'm sure Apollo is on track with things. Probably just don't want to post much until they receive the tracking number for everyone to stalk again. The turn around time from everyone complaining when we thought there was another delay (me included) and when I actually had it in my hand was very quick. I see no reason for this batch to be any different.

+1. At less than $70 for the kit on a limited, unprecedented production run, we got a major steal. These things may have collector value some day, be featured on Antiques Roadshow.
We agree with you :) Your Apollo ss vtube limited edition may sell for $500 in a few years as a collector ecig :)

Yes the May Day holiday on the other side of the Pacific is going to be over in a few hours so hopefully we will receive a tracking # soon!
