Hey braveheart Apollo does not sell Lavatube. Apollo sells our vtube and is the only vendor in the world selling real stainless steel vtube :)

Well, I am finally starting to get impatient. I have been fighting it, but this cheapo VV ego is coming apart, and I don't want to have to break out my replacement. Hopefully the superglue can hold on for another week or so. Or maybe I should get off me lazy duff and build that 5v box. I could spray paint it with ss paint....

Okay, I'm a little late to the 'first batch party', but my chrome VTube is finally here after some USPS Einstein didn't seem to realize that Utah is not on the East coast. Sorry that Apollo's gesture of free upgrade to Priority shipping was wasted on me.

BUT...I want to commend Apollo on the packaging. My last VTube purchase was simply dropped into a paper shipping envelope, no bubbles. THIS one was first wrapped in tissue, put into a bubblewrap slip, then into a bubble envelope. Not one single scratch, ding, or nick. Well done!

Dropped an AW IMR 18650 into it, stuck on one of those new bottom-coil fillerless cartos, upped it to 4.4v and fired away. Yep...I was home.

I was a little thrown off at first when trying to put the carto on due to the springy center pin but as time goes on I'm pretty certain that I'm going to be appreciating that more and more.

The thing is HEAVY - feels like it slightly outweighs my ProVari mini. And...I like that! And it just simply looks great. I do believe my top cap was not meant to come off, but I haven't tried too hard to see. Bottom cap threaded up like a dream.

Happy camper here, so thanks Apollo!

Congrats! Unfortunate that it took a trip around the country first, but at least it survived the trip. I can't wait to get mine.

Maybe mine just wanted a road trip. From China to US West Coast, to East Coast, then the American Southwest. Maybe mine's the most traveled? :p It's apparently roadworthy.

hey Sunny

Any news about the second batch?
Hello, yes just got news from the factory. The good news is the shipment was picked up by the forwarder/carrier; the bad news is that it is still stuck in their warehouse because they are still in holiday until the 6th - some take a whole week off! This means we will get the shipment next week instead of this week. Sorry for this delay!
