Who all has made the switch in their firmware? I did it after graduating to a couple of DNA mods. Those caused me to put all my RX mods (4), Cuboid and VF Classic back in their boxes and on the shelf. Since making the change, I've pulled some of those mods back out for trial and use.

I gotta say, I'm truly impressed with it. My trusty RX200S, which used to work well with TC vaping, had quit working. Even the latest Wismec update couldn't make TC work like it should. The upgrade to ArcticFox has put it on near DNA capable levels. Not quite DNA, but close enough for me.

I've pulled out the VF Classic that I won last year and used once, then put away. On it, I've put the Crown II, another piece that came in the same basket I won. I'm using a single coil SS Clapton at 0.44 ohm and am enjoying how it's made a mediocre (at best) tank come to life. It will never reach my Aromamizer Supreme or Plus levels of vaping enjoyment, but it's really nice. My RX200S is better than ever before with the new firmware.

This is one upgrade I suggest everyone try.

I do not know what problem you were having with TC mode on the RX's and cuboids?
I have 3 cuboids and 2 RX200's and TC mode works flawlessly on all of them running the upgrade FW from each of the devices sites. I keep hearing about everyone having these problems but I have not run into any of them on any device.

The RX200 didn't seem to control the wire as it should have. The RX200S come out, and worked great for me fo 9 solid months...then started working like the original RX did. The Cuboid was nice, but wasn't perfect. Adding ArcticFox brought the 200S not only back to life, but better than it ever worked. Yes, I tried the Wismec provided, and it still didn't work.

After vaping with the DNA75 and 250 for a couple of months, I finally have a benchmark on which to compare the ArcticFox. Like I said, it's near DNA levels, and gives me a vaping experience near that which those boards give. The NEF Toolbox isn't as smooth to navigate as Exscribe has been (as if Escribe is easy to use) but you get many of the same parameters to adjust, including specific battery curves, adjusting wire types, device monitor, preheat time and level, etc. All of this allows you to tweak your mod to operate in such a manner that you are happiest, and giving you optimal flavor while in TC mode.

Upgrade your firmware with it, give it a try, and you'll see what you've been missing...or not. It's your choice.

i got the AF firmware running on a pico and a cuboid 200w that i won. my main reason for DL'ing the AF firmware was for the EScribe esque software. the software combined with the amount of customizability of the mod is great. device monitor is great, needs some work but over all a good addition. there are a few bugs in the newest FW, but oh well. it's leaps and bounds above the stock eleaf/joyetech Fw.

With AF, you have the ability to tell your mod how long to keep a display on, and at what intensity. You also get to tell it what batteries you're using, which brings up it's battery curve, so that the battery gage is spot an and accurate. Battery life has improved considerably with this on the mod, compared to stock firmware.

I have been running it on my Cuboid Mini for a couple days now. It's very solid. I have MyEvic firmware running on s few other devices. I really like the Arctic Fox TFR Curves. This is the best TC experience that I have ever had from a Joyetech device. I will be loading it on my other devices soon.

I use a Pico, Pico Mega, and a VTC mini. Now all three use AF and it's going to stay that way. I set things up so they vape exactly as before so I have a starting point. What I'm watching is peak watts and peak temp after each puff to see what I can learn from that.

I'm tracking mAh consumed buy recharging with a Drok USB power meter from Amazon ($10). The mod is set for the LG HG2. During the last 4 work days I'm using 2300-2400 mAH which also happens to be about 500-600 mAh per ml of liquid. I'm getting the impression that battery life is extended since the firmware upgrade but may be that's my imagination. I have a 26650 Basen Black 4500 mAh battery in the Mega. I'd love to customize the battery section for that but don't know how. Any suggestions?
