My batteries and cartomizers come from the very same factory and are filled with the same liquids that ALL KR808s come from...I can not vouch for other suppliers marketing tactics but I can tell you that there is only one factory for these units...Unlike some other models , all Kr808s are made on the same line...I actually heard one other supplier making these claims and contacted the production manager of the factory to inquire about higher Mah batteries and the like...They simply arent available...At one point there was a certain supplier caliming that they had the NEW 4 hole batteries...Those are old batteries as the 4 hole are no longer made...The KR808 cartomizers are all filled with DeKang liquids unless filled by hand by the supplier or someone they hire...Anybody that claims differently I would question...There is no real reason to lie about these things in my opinion other than deliberatley mis leading customers to justify higher prices or some kind of edge...My father used to say "if it dont come out in the wash, it will come out in the rinse...

EDIT: Yeah - What ^^ she ^^ said ;)

I have both of them. I did not realize I was getting a VK when I ordered KR808D used batteries, but the person sent me an entire VK kit: batteries, case, charger, pack of carts. All of the items are completely interchangeable with the KR808D batteries I have purchased brand new from Drew.

So I would say that yes, they are exactly the same. The holes are the same in the batteries, they screw down / push down into the chargers just fine, etc. I see no real difference between the batteries / cartomizers whatsoever.

My .02 :)

Take care,
- Hap

I can't wait to try out these cartomizers. I have adapters coming in to use them on my 510 bats(sealed)along with my chuck. I think if I popped the end of them off, and used my Ink Pen Finger Grip on the end of the cartomizer I could drip vape on it when the cart is empty. A 901 cart also fit, but I think i would trim it down just a little before using it on it.

Drew, you know I love you and recommend your juices all the time, I also tell people that you are an excellent vendor, but I have to beg to differ with you on this. I actually have some of the new manual batteries, and extra long manual batteries from V4L and they rock. I got a few batteries from you and compared them to V4L batteries and they compare somewhat to the auto batteries from V4L, but compared to the new batteries and manuals, there is no comparison. And I have ordered carts from you and compared to the ones I ordered from V4L and there is no comparison - the V4L cartomizers are tastier and last longer. I have even said a few times that I wish you would fill your own cartomizers with YOUR liquids because they are awesome (I use them in my cartomizers ;) ).

You and Steve are both AWESOME vendors and I am happy to do business with both of you, but from a person who has bought from both, he is definately not just blowing smoke about his KR808D-1 parts and cartomizers. There is a huge difference.

But I will always come to you for your yummmy juice and recommend you to others! :D

I may have to grab one or two of these adapters, I have tons of 901 batteries and I prefer my cartomizers to carts. I keep hoping someone will do an 801 adapter - the leakage on those carts is rediculous. Cartomizers are really the only way for me. I confess to deliberately trying to suck the originals down so I can refill with Nhaler juice though! I think I need more blanks...

Jen, does Steve fill his own cartomizers then? How else would the juice taste different? Both Drew & Steve carry the same exact KR808 flavors on their sites. I'm confused! Also, I'm not sure if Drew meant Steve or other vendors with his comments.

Drew - I prefer manuals - will you be getting those for the KR808, too?

No, but Steve is really hands on and is in contact with the factory he deals with. They do things to his specifications. I ordered Cherry, and Menthol from Drew and they were not comparable to the ones I got from V4L in taste or longevity. They seems kind of dry tasting? They were fine, but not the same... And the extra long manual battery from V4L is a beast. It is about an inch longer then the longs and it just blows me away. Almost as powerful as the manual passthrough which I would put up against a mod for taste and throat hit.

Not putting down Drew, All I am saying is that he carrries the regular KR808 and while a fine product overall, it is not the same as what you get from V4L. I know because I have those batteries he says don't exist.

But I still love ya Drew, and would always recommend you as having the tastiest juice and superior customer service! You rock! ;)

Altsmoke has adapters for the 801 battery to the 510 atty, and the 510 battery to the 801 atty, and the 910 to the 510 atty. Vapor Country has the adapter for the 901 cartomizers. The only adapter I have found for the 801 battery to the 901 atty is for the Janty Stick. Hope this helps! :)

Hey Jen

I am sure that Steve at V4L uses DeKang. I got the cappucinno cartomizers and knew from the first sniff they were Dekang. They have a unique smell that I can't stand!!! :)

That may well be, I don't know who he uses, but I do know that his NEW carts are much improved over the old ones. He still has some of the older ones, but has new carts in several flavors. He is also getting in new tastes coming out soon (Pina Colada, Cinnimon Bun, Blackberry crumble, Nuport and Kool for instance) so perhaps he switched factories for the cartomizers? Don't know about that. Could ask him via email though.

I know that I bought some of the reduced priced (old cartos) in coffee and got some in the new coffee and the taste is a bit better and they do last longer so he is doing something different to them. He is also waiting on some VG samples to come in to see if they meet his standards and if so, he will be carrying them soon.

I
