The closest we can get is the following, from the owner of nicotine-river, which replied because one stated it was nicselect from alchem, which nicotine-river sells:
Good afternoon guys and gals! Just a heads up, Heartland 100% does not sell NicSelect nicotine and are very uncomfortable divulging who they do use for obvious reasons. They are either using a Chinese nicotine based out of Schenzen, China or BGP Healthcare Nicotine. Reddit is a tough group of people to keep happy sometimes and alot of things get skewed in there. I personally try my hardest to go above and beyond to help anyone who has issues with us. We will always be around in this group to service everyone we can with as much information as possible http://forum...................../images/emoji/apple/slight_smile.png?v=2
The source of this post is from ELR-forums which ECF has blocked so will not post a "fixed" link for it...

Sorry that was me, but isn't correct anymore... The posted picture of the botttle on the webpage features a alchem nicselect batchnumber on it, but I failed to notice the picture where several years old. Also I read a person stating to have called them and got it confirmed, but he was seriously confused and made several other mistakes during the conversation I saw, so I don't believe him, and rather believe e.g. the head of nicotine-river which works closely with alchem for years. Also, they use other batchnumbers now than alchem... When asked they won't disclose either...

Just curious if anyone ordered from NR for their July 4th sale and received their stuff?

Mine should be here Tue however I show shipment weight of 28 lbs from the FedEx site and I ordered 2.5 gallons of nic plus some supplies and flavorings and total cost before shipping was just over $500. According to a post I saw on VU, orders over $500 would also come with 5 free gallons of PG or VG and 28 lbs seemed a bit light for all that stuff and I'm thinking they didn't send the extra VG that I requested in the order comments.

I could be wrong but I guess I'll find out on Tue but was wondering if anyone else got their stuff and if it had the free goodies that was included in the sale.

I got my shipment this week and it did not include the free liter I should have gotten.

Oh yeah, they indeed shipped the free 4 gallons of VG and 1 gallon of PG. Weight was more like 82 lbs, not 28 lbs, LOL. The FedEx guy was like, what the hell is in here, a car engine? I didn't want to say it was nicotine in fear that he'd drop it and I've have a spill on my hands :D

Definitely happy with NR, they even through in a bunch of empty 1 liter containers to break down the PG pr VG into smaller quantities. I wouldn't use it for the nic since it's translucent container and easily lets light through and the nic is going into glass anyway so I'll throw the VG and PG in it.

Haven't had a chance to try the nic yet but I'm excited to try DIY juice VERY soon!

Am curious your thoughts on the nic when you try it.

I use and like the Heartland, but would like to know how it compares to NR. They both have been my go to places for Lot of orders, also Essential Depot for my vg/pg, and Bullcity for smaller variaties of flavors. Since I have been making more and more bigger bottles I ordered some of NR 120 clear twist top bottles, end users may not care for them as they are not a needle tip, but the larger opening make filling so much easier and faster for topping of with VG.

Cool I have used NR before. But this is my first liter from them. Curious your thoughts before I taint you with mine.
This is my first time dabbling with DIY so I have nothing previous to compare to, so I guess I wouldn't know the difference as compared to say NN, LOL.

I normally buy my juice at 3mg and max VG and from all the endless reading I've done, I guess I won't notice too much of a difference between different brand nics if I mix at 6mg or under so if there is a peppery taste I guess it shouldn't be that pronounced at that low of strength...?

Right now I have 2.5 gallons of NR and 2.5 gallons of Heartland "chilling" in freezer until I can transfer the base to amber or cobalt glass but I might try mixing some juice this week and give the NR a shot from the half gallon container, I have some spare 30ml glass dropper bottles I can fill up so maybe I'll fill one with NR and the other with Heartland and see if I can tell a difference between the 2.

Cool deal. I usually mix a test batch around 10mg to test how a nic tastes on its own. No flavoring.

You can also do the smell test as well. I can tell how a nic is going to be by the smell. I have tried about 10 different nicotines over the years.

I am part of the clean-no taste fan club.

The nics i've tried, and different batches(5 different nic-sources, alchem, chemnovatic, nicobrand, J&G biotech, and undisclosed US imported source, and individual batches of some of those), vary between a nutty, or leathery or damp-tobacco-y, or slight ash-tray aroma, with or without nose-sting additionally... Oh, sometimes there comes a fish smell after some time, but that's normal btw, as several nic msds sheets state the smell of the pure nic is slight fish, lol... Btw, I had a completely clear nic from china where I couldn't smell anything, and no sting, but the flavor itself was of slight black pepper...

The nicselect I get, which is diluted by alchem's pharma-subcontractor, titrated and COA made, and just rebottled by individual vendor, is having a smell that's void of nuttyness, tobacco, leather or alike, but it have it's own special kinda smell, which i'm guessing is in all(nicsmell?) but is owerpowered by other stuff. The impurities is so low(under detection limit) that I don't think it's extraction material... The smell, I really cant explain but is how i know it's a nicselect bottle to me... Sometimes I think of glue or something.... No, damn I cant label it... Note very faint and not unpleasant... When vaped unflavored it's very clean to me, much more than my current chemnovatic, but i'm guessing it's a "bad" batch... The chemnovatic where that dark leathery often noted...

Sorry for polluting thread, I just got cought up in sketchness quote about differentiating smell, and since it is nicselect you are discussing I hope you don't mind ;)
