In my case I wanted to be sure to get the ICE while WL still had it. John had said it would be depleted soon and, since I only vape 3mg nic, all I needed was one 500ml bottle of the 100mg ICE and that would hold me for at least 5-6 years.

Having previously tried nearly every other nic vendor prior to trying the ICE there is no comparison IMHO. A $60 investment to be sure I had a long standing supply of the ICE was a sure bet for me .. so glad I did it.

I'm sorry if I came off as pompous, but it is very frustrating to need nic for everyday juice needs and find that people are hoarding the crap out of it and that supplies are low.

Maybe the ICE is more refined, and may last longer, but seriously, 5 or 6 years storage is asking a lot. It would be a real waste to have to throw it out if it degrades.

Darn it. I just got my first order of nic from WL. Before I ordered I ran a quick search to see if everyone was happy with them and they are. Just wish I had read more of this thread so I would have known about the ICE option. I'm sure that the WL regular will be just fine based on the comments of others but sure would have liked to try this thing called ICE. Hopefully, when my nic is depleted WL will have ICE as a purchase option.

On freezing...I've only stored 50/50 pg/vg nic in the freezer and it didn't freeze. Either the pg or vg or the combo doesn't seem to freeze. Not that I care, just curious. I don't buy in amounts large enough to last more than a few months.

Don't be hard on yourself - they are not selling any ICE at this time. Ice was an experimental thing and they will notify on the web site when and if they will have more.

Don't be so hard on yourself - ICE was an experimental thing and is not being offered at this time. If and when it is going to be offered again they will notify on their web site.

PG and VG do not freeze solid at freezer temperatures - they have much lower solidifying temps. Somewhere like -50° and -70°. They mainly gel.

That is just plain foolish... shelf life of frozen nic is 2 years, at best. It's not a wonder that there is a shortage.

There is a shortage because everyone is erring on the side of caution with the FDA looming. There is no expiration date on nic stored properly in the freezer. I assure you I will vape every drop I bought...lol Not in the habit of throwing money away.

As for those mentioning the ICE there is a chance that John may be getting that again and/or what was referred to as Pure. If he does I am sure it will be posted all over the forum as you can see it has quite the following.

Yes, I have talked to the owner of My Freedom Smokes (a supplier of nic for sometime now) and inquired as to the shelf life of frozen nic - he told me it was 1 year to 18 months and that it could go to 2 years, but that he would personally not trust that.

Perhaps, it is true that nic supplies have been restocking, yet WL is still out of stock on certain sizes everytime I go to their website...

Personally, I am just trying to get enough to make juice as I need it. I don't know if people are paranoid or if it is just a case of OCD. I think that if there was a real apocolypse, one in which food and water was scarce, I know which people I wouldn't trust.

I'm just catching up on the thread, so don't know if anyone got the answer they wanted.

Anywho....I actually bought 500ml of 60mg PG, from MFS, in April 2010 and finished it off this month. I kept it in the original amber glass bottle, in a locked black mens shaving bag, in the crisper drawer, in my fridge. It was opened and closed several times, because I didn't know any better, until recently. It looked, tasted, smelled and diluted the same, from beginning to end.

I now have enough new stock, thanks to WL (and others), to last me and 4 other people, at least 3 years.

My level is 30ish, at the moment. There was a period of time (before WTA) that I went back to being a part-time smoker, part time snuser, part time vaper. When I 1st started on that bottle, I was at 18mg. The 30mg that I'm at now is on the new bottle from another supplier. (I realized after I posted that it sounded like I went up in nic to compensate, I can assure you that I did not)

Just stopped by wl this weekend to pick up my first DIY order (short drive from tampa) Great people! Talked with the owner for about 15 mins. Made my first juice today and I couldn't be happier. I will for sure be ordering again soon.

Hey ALL!

I just received my nic, PG, VG, flavorings, and other DIY supplies all from Wizard Labs and can tell you that their packaging is stellar!

The nic, PG, and VG were all TRIPLE packaged, with the nic QUAD packed for safety!
And everything was bubble wrapped very well.
The only thing I found interesting was that the nic came in a plastic amber colored PLASTIC bottle when glass is rec. by them in the nic Safety, and Storage sheet they put in the box. But I imagine this is more for SHIPPING SAFETY reasons than anything else, because all of the flavorings are in glass, but they're NOT TOXIC!

Just opened my 24mg pg base 500ml that I received from WL.
It has an odor to it. I mixed up my normal 80pg/20vg at 18mg nic. No flavor.
It has a very bad chemical taste, really unvapable. Hurts my throat actually.
Now I have purchased nic from WL in the past and have had no problems.
I experienced this problem with My freedom smokes nic multiple times and will never buy from them again.
Does anyone know if steeping the nic bottle would help?

I was thinking about ordering from WL for the first time and noticed they will? customize the blend. Will they blend 50/50 and how do you ask about it. Can you still ask for Ice? Do I ask for it in the comments when I order? I am new to DIY as if you can't tell.

I've been hearing that Nic in the VG base comes out better than the those in the PG base, which can occasionally be problematic. Is this true?
