I tend to agree, Charlie. Some stimulation maybe, but eliquid doesn't contain any of the maoi's found in tobacco, which is what gives the euphoric feeling.
As a non-smoking teenager, I used to get a brief buzz from taking a deep drag on a cigarette. Truth be known, that's probably how I got hooked on cigarettes.
I smoked cigarettes for 35+ years. Never have I experienced a nicotine 'high' using a PV, and I vape 36mg all day long.

I got tweaked out very often a couple weeks back when I started vaping. Now I do 24mg all day currently and I don't get all tweaky, but it does make me feel "and talk" like I've just had a pot of coffee... LOVIN IT!

I've read where some heavy smokers of pretty stout cigarettes are satisfied with very low nic juice (8-12mg), and others, like myself, who smoked mild cigarettes who require higher nic levels.

yea, i wish i could get that full lung feeling....that is the only thing vapin lacks lungs feel empty even after a huge hit
Maybe try some good Swedish snus (not that Camel junk). It safely gives back the satisfying calm focus we don't get from PV's, plus makes PV's more enjoyable, instead of a full-time facial fixture.
I've had a nic high but, I am also taking percocets for my back. I think the nicotine just enhanced the effect. I got a lot of juice on my hands while I was filling bottles and attys. Then I started vaping. I think the nic on my hands got to me somehow. After about 15 minutes, my head was swimming. I have been on the percocets for about a year so, they don't give me a euphoric feeling anymore. At that point, I felt one. It didn't last too long though.
I think I'm weird... I never really liked that full-lung feeling of analogs, but I liked the throat hit and (used to) like the "flavor" (hahaha now they taste sooo gross)... probably why I switched over so easily. When I started to vape the first day I was slightly ...different I guess...? It was weird but I just went to bed haha.
From what I've gathered nic is more of a sedative effect at higher doses. At lower doses it tends to be more of a stimulant. After all that nic you may have potentiated your normal dose of pain meds.
I usually vape like a fiend before bed and sleep better than if I didn't.
I haven't bad a nic buzz in years though... sometimes after a few drinks but otherwise no go.
Come to the Dark Side Smokeless tobacco and meet some folks who also didn't find satisfaction in PV's alone. Eliquid isn't pharma-different from nicotine gum or patches. A more satisfying delivery, but not the other goodies that have the feel good factor, which drives many ex-smokers to antidepressants or back to smoking.
My "all day" vapes are 18mg or so but I keep a bottle of something high on me for that occasional kick. I still get that "head ding" occasionally.
