don't take it the wrong way when someone else does the same.

When you post something there is nothing you can do when someone takes what you say in the wrong way, Somewhat what you just did.

There is many forums he could have posted in, It's just that people look over them or plain just don't care.

I don't see what the problem with the reaction is. I mean he did put this at the start of his post:

People only gave him the reaction he was wanting. I think he was wanting exactly what happened. Why was it not started minus that if he was serious?

I'm very surprised that this thread has had so many responses. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but no knowledge is sometimes far worse and even though I agree in principle with the OP, I can't say I like the post.

Don't kill a kid? Thanks mate, I'll try my best not to.

I'm totally for a warning label. Something along the lines of..."Keep out of reach of children. Can be fatal if ingested or absorbed through skin"

That oughta cover it for the nuff nuffs. Instead of talking about it, is there a way we can formally request our suppliers to include labels?

For the record, I don't have kids, not even sure I want any...but I do know that kids get into stuff when you're not watching. I can't count the amount of times I nearly blew myself up as a kid, but were it not for my dad explaining the dangers of gunpowder and explosives to me at 3 years of age, I surely would have.

What happened was he was blunt about what he said and he knew that it would provoke many. He got what he wanted and no less.

Just to add...When someone takes something you said the wrong way, while there's nothing you can do about it, it is your fault.

My point remains that you made it sound as if the OP was really well treated, and flipped out simply because some people disagreed with him. I think it's more accurate to say that he was subjected to a good deal of unwarranted nastiness, and objected to it.

And I think you're unclear about the fact that this is the only forum that new users are allowed to post in.

When I initially read it after like 3 responses I figured it would die out and no one would really care because he was saying what is literally plastered everywhere. Someone said it was posted to the new user forum indicating it was for new users but this was his first post and couldn't post it anywhere else......
